This one is the oldest picture I could find.  I hate it, hate hate hate it! It was drawn sometime probably 1999!! I remember that I was reading a book about drawing female manga characters and trying to learn from it. This is the first pic I ever colored on my PC too. I haven't done a FULL updated version of it, but I've just been re-doodling the outline here now whilst waiting to go home from work.  I seem to have more waist evilness in the first pic. Why, oh WHY did I seem to think that women's waists came in like the middle of hourglasses!?!  WHY DID I THINK THAT LENSFLARE AND CLOUDS WERE A GOOD BACKGROUND!!! AIIIEEEE! DIE DIE DIE  |

| You know I don't have that great a layout myself but I know it's not bad. Compare the stuff I do now to what I did three years ago. Ai yi yi...no me gusta. So yea...I can definitely see the difference and improvement. But isn't better that you're actually -looking- over some of your old stuff to get a better idea of how you've improved? I do that sometimes with some of the stuff I do, be it whatever. |

| I better show that to my sister, as the big Sailor moon fan she is. And yeah, I really can't see that you did draw that picture. Ever, you have gone a long way through.  Heh, and don't worry. Most newbies with Photoshop usually play around with the lens flare filter. Ok I didn't, but that's becuse everyone kept telling me how much it sucked.  Apart from the obvious need of colours, I really have nothing to complain about the newer picture. So yeah, it's yet another masterpiece.  |

| Lens flare only sucks because it is too frequently misused and when misused... it looks cheap and tacky. Like the original picture there. It's become a great Photoshop cliche... good ole lens flare. I still love lens flare, I just very very seldom use it. |
