| Well, I bet a lot of you are wondering about my activity. As is the way of most of us nerds, I've come into a bit of social life and things are really exciting for me right now and things won't die down for me until probably mid-May, and until then, I won't be doing any hacking and hardly responding to the forums, but fear not! I am not leaving and I will be back full force this summer and promise to have SMB3DX released by fall this year at the latest (when school starts, I'll have to give up big projects like that). So until then, if you PM or email me, it'll probably remain unanswered for a few more weeks, just sit tight and I will return! |

| Yes, I put this in the ROM Hacking forum because I'm receiving a dozen emails/PMs from rom hackers who, like me, probably don't visit general chat very often and the rest of the board hardly knows who I am as it is. My away time mostly affects my rom hacking projects so I figured ROM Hacking forum was the best place to post this. If the admin's have a problem with it, they'll tell me themselves. |

| I thought all that was left to finish SMB3 DX was the levels. Why not have someone put the levels in for you. The people that were designing the levels for you might be dissapointed casue they were under the assumption that they would see the game kinda soon. | |||

I never said the hack was going to be done soon, and I haven't even chosen anybody from the contest to design levels, in fact, I haven't even played a single submission! SMB3DX's main thing is levels, yes, but I still have a few ASM hacks I want to add, plus the maps need to be redone. Just hang tight folks, it'll come  |

| You obviously didn't read the rules: the max size for 1 level alone is 500 bytes, the max size for a level with a 2nd part/bonus level is 800 combined (meaning the single level can be 500, the bonus being 300 or a mix of 400 and 400). Edit: And it's not that I _need_ a break, I just came into other things I'd rather do at the moment. DD has a life now! How wonderful! I would take that any day over rom hacking... speaking of which, I REALLY need to get back into rom hacking again  I'll try to relearn everything in my summer free time (if I have any). Congrats DD! How's your gf? Don't get her pregnant now, you hear? Mario Adventure was classy enough for me. If you get SMB3DX done, it'll only be a bonus. Sorry I never got those sprites to you! |
