| Blind Guardian? Yuck. Rhapsody is where it's at though. Those are about the only bands I know of also. If you like female vocals, you might get a kick out of Nightwish (I didn't). Symphony X is good, they're more progressive than power, but they have some good symphonic / metal songs. (The Odyssey is amazing) Stratovarius is good. They're mainly progressive, but they have a few good somewhat symphonic / metal songs here and there. Kamelot is supposedly Symphonic Power, but from what I've heard of them, they seem more like plain Power. Meh, this will probably be more helpful than me.  |

| Yeah, and as I said ... I can't say I cared for them at all. Not that I don't really like female vocals, but I didn't even really enjoy them musically. They're a little overated too. (Very very popular) Also, most of the bands you listed Nebetsu aren't really the same exact style, kind of a broad list. And I've never really seen a genre called "Metal Opera", although basically the same idea and same thing, you'd probably get more results looking for just simply "Symphonic Metal". Also, they're not Symphonic at all really, but Edguy's "Vain Glory Opera" song is one of their best and worth checking out. I also hear a lot about Dream Theater, I've never heard of their stuff personally like other bands ... I've just "heard" they're good, so maybe they're worth checking out for you.
