The only sprite I ever hacked was Chargin' Chuck, and all I really did in that case was insert a JSR to my own custom life bar routine. I'm nowhere near as advanced as, say, mikeyk. The best SNES debugger available right now is Geiger's Snes9x debugger, available at Zophar's Domain. Note that you'll want to use a separate copy of your ROM with that program, because it removes the 0x200-byte header that Lunar Magic requires. |

Goomba's speed wouldn't be that simple... I think it uses the same value as a lot of different sprites, so changing the speed of one would change them all. Then again, this may only hold true for SMB3, not SMW... | |||

Oh, well then would you happen to know where abouts i can find the speed for all of them. I noticed in Luigi's Quest, not sure which one it was but the bouncing green Koopa really flies! at ya. hey BMF, JSR that's asm how'd you asm Chuck, was it an hex editor or did u use a debugger?. I am dying to know!, you make a Chuck boss didn't u, i've been wanting to know how i can make him a boss for ages, could you please give me the info on how you did it. I'd much appreciate it. Thx |
