its like 2.5 weeks old...but I didnt see anyone post it, so I think its awesome...
http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/features/51429/Behind_the_DPad.html

it was featured on AOTS(Attack of the show) Formerly the screensavers, for anyone who doesnt know...

anyway, this thing is huge, and it actually works...they even tell you how to build one...although it will cost you $400...anyway, for anyone whos to lazy to click the link, heres a pic.

I think this is pointless, but would be cool to try to use it.

I don't see how anyone could play a game with the buttons so far apart. Then again, this would turn virtually any one-player game into a co-op game

Sure, it's tough to play games with, but if you think about it, practicality isn't what you build these kinds of things for to begin with.

I would like to try it once, though. Could be fun...

Looks fun to try. I wouldn't mind trying it out.

Of course, that would probably make virtually every NES game into a co-op game, because, well, you'd need one other person to work with.

...hey, as long as it's not a SNES controller. You'd need FOUR people - One for the D-Pad, one for the buttons, and one each for the L and R buttons. XD

Super Smash TV might be awesome to play with that thing.

Hi, Sketchie, meet reading the thread before posting.

And this is awesome. I only wonder, though, how much work it was to get the arrows and circle in to the D-Pad.

Gee, why can't I express my opinion? Is there a rule against that or something? Last I heard America had a thing called "freedom of speech" T_T

See, now this is the problem - one of the things you said added nothing (though not everything you said), and I comment on that. You respond with something about America having free speech, but... This isn't America, this is Acmlm's board.

Hehe, I took apart a NES controller once. Everyone should do, and clean it on the inside. The response in games get much better.

Heh, at least this controller needs two player to control. XD

I would be able to play any game by myself with this controller. Seriously, and you know I would. I don't see why so many people are saying otherwise.

If I had one of those, I'd immediately sell it on Ebay. That is the only practical purpose I can come up with for it.

Keffie: A novelty item to use in traps. How many times can you claim you crushed someone to death with an NES controller? Without one of these, none.

You could play an RPG alone with that I guess. I used to do that with Gameboy Colour, hold it in one hand and play RPGs with just one thumb.
