Sometimes I have trouble wording things. I mainly use my right hand, it is the one I write with. I do use my left hand for some things, but I couldn't really think of a good example right now.

I'm right-handed but sometimes I use my left hand for certain tasks (mainly drinking out of a cup and that). Strange.

Believe it or not, I think it is common for people to use their opposite hand for drinking. I dunno why, but everyone I know does that too.

EDIT:

Thinking on it, it may be because it is considered "formal" for cups to be opposite the silverware, and the silverware is pretty much on the right by default. So people use their left. But for me, I always switch the silverware and the cup, so it still works

I recall reading that at one time, children were FORCED to be right-handed, because left-handedness was considered evil or rebellious or something. I'm also certain I read that left-handedness is a (very, very slight) form of mental retardation, because humans are "naturally" right-handed.
