I'll be gone for awhile. computer went down [I'm at school now] tell the IRC men the news for me. for now all my projects are canceled/iced; I'm going to have to reformat my HD; so I'm losing everything [

Oh, I'm sorry for you, but there is a program called Recover My Files and with luck you may be able to recover some files after the formation.

Well, it's possible to have two more matches in the BM5 tourney without skiffles. :/

...what happened? At least the HD didn't crash. (if it did, a repartitioning/format wouldn't help at all)

Indeed. Far too often, people reformat their hard drive when their computer crashes, even though it wasn't the hard drive in the first place, or most of their files were still intact.

Please, PLEASE try to backup your files, if you can. Death of Skiff's projects = death of a little part of all of us.

meh. I'm back. I literally tore my room apart trying to find the recovery CD. if I could've backed up my files; I would've. I probably picked up a ~~STD~~ virus picking up some of those ~~whores~~ pirated software. I couldn't even access the windows OS; it automatically restarted when it hit that XP loading screen with the bar. At one point it started to partition my HD so yeah. not the first time this has happened. just another start-from-scratch here =| I'll be back on IRC and such once I pick it up. again. [and I'm still kicking your asses in bomberman thank you very much.] whether or not a reformat was my only option; It's too late now. and it's probably the easiest option I had either way. besides, My room is clean now

[I filled up 11 garbage bags of trash. yeah. I didn't even know I had that much trash in this room.] and I found $1.97 in change =] Yay for combined optimism and denial etc.
