| Meaning...this thread. But anyways.... Yeah...I was out with m' friend again. We first went uptown and went past Coldstone Creamery. They do pretty good ice cream up there. Sat outside and ate...and this older guy came up, seemingly drunk, asking for somethin' like 71 cents. I figured I'd be nice & give him a dollar. He thanked me very graciously, and asked if she was my daughter.   Gee...made me feel great about how I look...apparently to him I look mid- to late-forties with a bandana on. I told him no. He then said I must like 'em young.   I let 'im know I'm actually 23...and he apologized profusely. He then started in about something...I couldn't understand a word through the mumble...meanwhile, she's been trying to not laugh loud this whole time, and is squeaking. She managed to pull us out of that one by very abruptly saying we had to go, still trying not to laugh...and at safe distance, did. She told me I didn't look old for my age. Felt a whole lot better after that, lemme tell ya'.Went from there and saw Guess Who. It was pretty funny...seen better, seen worse...not gonna spoil anything. Words that passed between us...I don't remember most of them...I remember the general feel. I can tell she's feeling the same...but, as she said last time, doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. And that's okay; I'm just happy to get to spend time with her. She said her back ached. I offered to work it out for her. She was happy; she led me back here for it...which, I'd been happier at her place...m' room is in no condition for visitors. She didn't care. The only places her back really needed were right below the shoulder blades, and a little bit on the small of her back. Shoulders, though...that took a bit. Wore out m' hands before I was done. By this point it was late. She had to go. Hugged...yeah. I wanted to kiss her...obviously. Gave her one on the cheek instead...just waiting for when she's ready. So...yeah. Needed the bucket of ice water last night...no luck. And somewhere in m' head I'm hearing Elvis's All Shook Up...though not all the words apply. |
