I think the price of the media is pretty expensive... I mean, the 32MB stick should be OK if you just want to save, but with addons and such (like Wipeout tracks)... it'll fill up quickly.

Then again, how else can you get around that aside from a built-in HD?

By lowering the price of the 1 gig sticks.

Sell the at a loss for the first 6 months, then production costs go down due to the wholesale purchase of parts which gradually phase in cheaper and cheaper components.

Lowering prices? They'll do whatever they can to put that off as long as possible, that's fer sure.

Ziff: That's what I'd do. Hell, I would have tossed in a 128MB stick compared to the 32MB one so people could play around with the PSP's capabilities. You'll take a loss, sure, but at the same time people can actually see what it can do without having to spend more cash to store their MP3's/videos.

Fyxe: You can be damn sure they'll do a price drop before Christmas, especially if sales start to slow down.

But Nintendo DS probably would get a price drop too by then... hell it's already 200 SEK around here. At least the price wars are good for the consumers...

"This reminds me of something I saw in the UK Nintendo Mag. Some guy lost his GBA, he found it in his garden about a week later. It had been rained, snowed and was caught in a drought. He put in new batteries and it was still working perfectly. Goes to show Nintendo hardware is the most durable "

There was rain, snow, and a drought all in a single week? UK must be one crazy place.

First this started out as a PsP broken thread, but now we're just talking about the PsP again. Lets do that in the already made PsP thread, okay.

And who sticked it anyway?
