| I got a mysql server, ftp, shell, and phpmyadmin set up.. the thing is, when trying to do the acmlmboard stuff I keep running into errors... and I can't fix them myself because I know 0 PHP. I did the config stuff, and I did the dbinfo stuff, but when I go to my boards url, it comes up with this: Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /homepages/21/d91755160/htdocs/Kess/lib/dbinfo.php on line 2 Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/21/d91755160/htdocs/Kess/lib/dbinfo.php on line 2 I have no idea what that means. But I CAN see it says something about a '\' being on line 2 of dbinfo.php, and there isn't a \ there. I asked someone on this board for help last night and he couldn't come to an answer so I thought maybe you guys could. I'm trying to run the latest Acmlmboard too. |

| I couldn't install an AB 1.92 over my old 1.81 one. Then I deleted all the SQL tables. Since a new reinstall also failed, I simply used the ... install.php from AB 1.81 ( ) to recreate all the SQL table files, maybe missing one or two new ones which came with the newer versions.(edited by Surlent on 04-14-05 11:35 PM) |
