| Frickin awesome, I've always wanted one of those. The potential for abuse scares me though... Heh, it was on slashdot for a few days ago. I wonder if they actually are working on something, or just took the patent to be sure being the first to do gaming in this way.  Would be cool if it happened, but I wouldn't exactly be the first one testing it.  |

I'd call this a long, long, LONG-term investment for Sony.  Start the conspiracy theories if you want, but this is either a grab for attention or a way of covering their bases.I couldn't imagine what the cost would be if they could whip up one of these in 5-10 years to begin with. |

| This is just one patent. There are probably thousands of other ways of achieving the same ends. Plus, the potential for harm from this is disturbingly real. If this technology ever comes out and I have a family, it will not be welcome in my home. |
