My new supra 1337 conspirative theory:

FuSoYa is a secret agent for the CIA who just created Lunar Magic for us to use it on the SMW ROM, thus doing something illegal.
One day, we will all be put in jail and Fu will be promoted in his ministry for this great strike against the hacking community.
woo.

</spammode>

And yeah, it is possible to write a new level mapping for SMW, it wouldn't even be all that hard. But neither would LM, in its current state, make any reasonable editing of the affected levels possible, nor do I have enough faith in Atma X's romhacking skills.

ehh? Those have got to be the largest levels I've ever heard of .

I don't know if you meant that that is a lot to write to RAM, rather than recording that amount to the game,... but either way, it won't be too big.

I probably wouldn't have known to do that if the first thing I did on a computer was try to hack SMW

I don't expect that you will, because I haven't yet shown you what I can do, or told you much of what I know,... but I'll try to release a decent beta (or something further along) by the end of the summer,... but that depends on how much time I waste playing RO . If not by the end of the summer, than shortly after for sure.

And I don't expect the rest (or most) of you to believe me yet,... because you guys don't really seem to have faith in anything good that can happen (and if it does happen, then the creater of the program is suddenly a God ) . (and I'm not talking about any of the jokes that were made , for complete fu**ing obvious reasons )

That's Blackhole.
And reason he hasen't shared any secrets (secrets to some that is) is because most people wouldn't understand any of the shared info anyway .

There was a guy making a program that lets you edit the music in Super Mario World. But, he set a release date for his program, wasn't finished by then, and everybody started the hate train on him for not following his word. So, he stopped giving us progress, and every thread that asks/deals with his program was deleted due to the massive amounts of threads like it.

His name I won't reveal, because almost everybody on the board knows who it is, and will save me some typing .

Ha! You make me laugh. He is making this thing, he will release when he is done, end of story.

Also, I thought he was talking about Bouche when he mentioned the guy who had done it. He shared his method with other people on some occasions, even me once. Its complicated, so I would just wait for the editor.
