OK, I have a laptop, whoo. It gets really hot fairly quickly, the fan is going right now, thing is, the keys on the top left of the board burn my fingers, literally. Any suggestions to make it run cooler? Like ways to cut down on processor usage or whatever makes my fingers hurt? I need something.

cutting down on processor usage should mean exactly what it sounds like uhh... I don't have a laptop, but I've heard that resting it on a cooler (that has ice in it, of course) helps. Perhaps a more practical solution would be putting some ice in a cloth towel; careful not to get the laptop too wet, of course. |

Er, replace the fan. And if it's so hot the keys are burning you, you might want to stop using it until you can get it fixed. That's probably not much better for it than it is for you.

Blow the dust out of it with compressed air. At about 20 pounds compression should do it. |
