Forgive me for posting what probably sounds to experienced hackers a stupid question, but how can people edit the graphics in SMB1, 2 & 3? They're all jumbled up and it's hard to tell what's what in most places. Is there a way to see the graphics easier so I can actually see what I'm editing?

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

Most things seem like a jumble. That's why we either look hard to decipher said jumble, then edit it, or write special tools.

It's easier for NES because you can see a lot of graphics, but the palettes are jumbled
For SNES, it's pretty harder.

I hope you are using yy-chr. With that you can go change how the sprites are arranged. for smb2 and 3 I would suggest changing it from normal to FC/NESx16. It makes things alot easier to view.
