| I've noticed quite a while ago but couldn't be bothered making a thread about it. Why are they called "Messages" instead of "Private messages" now. Did all the make admin hacks force them to be non provate anymore? | |||

| We've always made jokes about the not-so-Private Messages, but I even checked -- the original board (at acmlm.overclocked.org/board/ does, in fact, say Private messages -- here it just says Messages. Interesting that osmoene would point that out, it's such a small change it seems like no one should've seen it. |

So far I have only catched on admin to start checking through my admin box, and he isn't a admin anymore anyway. But I always try to IM when it's private, and not PM.  Still, an Admin shouldn't randomly look through other people's PM's unless they have a good reason to. Such as abuse.  Oddly, it's called private messages on every else than on the front page. And yeah it's called Private messages on the front page. I think I kinda know why it's called Messages thought, it's becuse of a certain feature that wasn't added (but planned). I'm not sure if Jesper is still implenting it. :/ |

| There'll be something called System Messages later on so that you'll be notified when you qualify for a custom title, get a warning, approach a post milestone or the birthday of people in your post radar, etc. However we're planning to add some other architecture to play nicely with this but this will take some time, so it's simply not there right now. | |||
