| I quit Acmlm's Board in mid-February, planning never to return, because I get no respect here. Then, once I was looking at a newbie thread at TEK Hacks, and it said that Acmlm's Board was down...so I went here to investigate, and then I found out that the MYSQL database stuff was deleted. I then posted a thread at TEK about it. A few days later, it was the Grand Opening of The New Acmlm's Board...I decided to give the board another chance, so I went on IRC about two hours before the opening...then when the announcement came that we could register, I switched to an IE window that was set to acmlm.org/board (I now use the correct URL), refreshed the page, and registered. So, in short, I didn't do anything different for those few days, because I hadn't been posting at Acmlm's for the past month anyway. (edited by Banedon on 03-30-04 07:29 AM) |

| The first few minutes after it happened: was playing GunBound Thursday evening after seeing the disaster: somewhat of a panic state, had to figure out what I'm going to do, already planned to restart the board since I had no recent backup, quickly realized the week-end won't go as I originally planned Friday: started working on things for the board so I could try to get it back as fast as possible, was slowed down by the high activity on IRC Saturday: about the same  Sunday: finally got everything ready, just in time before I had to leave to my cousin's, so I missed a good part of the beginning spree  But other than that, I didn't really go anywhere during the board downtime, I was already more of a lurker than anything anyway |

Well, I posted on the other (main forum, since I know it from 2001) board, other than else, I tried to continue in games which I always wanted to finish, but never did make it  - Tactics Ogre, SNES - Grandia I, PSX - Vagrant Story, PSX - Seiken Densetsz 3, SNES I'm currently messing with TO now again (did it 2003 before my hard drive with all my saves crashed, I was far in chapter 3 already)  |

| Hmmm... posted on my own message boards, edited more of my SMW hack, played Viewtiful Joe, and some other things... When the boards came back up, I re-registered and posted the third demo of my hack. Then things were just like it used to be. Weird thing though, I think I am more active now than I ever was. | Lets see..hmm..what was I doing..I mostly was playing games, I had school so I was there most of the day, came home, did homework, showered, didn't have time to see if the board was back so I ended up registering later than the board opened. I wanted to come right when I did but this internet sucks and it frustrates me because it always freezes up the computer with pop ups but it's better than no internet. It's spring break now though so I have enough time to post a lot or as much as I can . |
