I'm going to post some information about my "tutorial of what not to do" hack here for all to see and comment on. This thread is also "part of it" where I will be doing things that people should not do. Every level has atleast one major and one minor mistake. Message boxes will explain what these mistakes are. (Minor - Posting screenshots several times a day, every day, is generally not a good idea, you give away too much of you hack, people may not be so inclined to play it when it comes out.) One of countless errors that aren't obvious in the editor that become glaring when you actually play. Minor - Linking to images on sites like angelfire will get you problems like this one. Try to find a different webhost that will let you do image links. One of many message boxes used to explain problems and mistakes people make. Ones like this are glaringly obvious, as most of the "major" kind are. |

What filter did you use for this screenshots (and what emulator)? It looks like SuperEagle (although the colour rastering glitches look more like 2xSaI, for me), but the resolution seems far beyond what any emulator-internal implementation I know of supports. |

I'm glad you're going through with this, now let's just see if it will get the message across. Be sure to discourage making areas that you must jump from one small block to the next repeatedly, or fall into a pit of lava or something. They are thoughtless, made effortlessly, and are very boring. |

One more thing you should add... Ledges that are on the bottommost tile row of the screen, thus making only the topmost pixel row of them visible. | |||

I fixed it by using an entity pointing to the direct unicode code point (Я). Anything not in the unicode range might be interpreted as anything else but ASCII, and in those encodings the specific character might be something totally different, like the ß. | |||
