Will someone with higher technical knowledge PLEASE look in to this stuff more? I really want to discover this but with limited knowledge it just doesn't help. For those of you don't recall, a word is two bytes.

These were done with the Brambles music.

Words 0 to 7 - after the offset seems to tamper with the sound channels. If they're not default, they don't seem to play. If they're 00, they can cause crashes.
Word 8 Byte 1 - Tempo of the music.
Word 8 Byte 2 - Tempo of the sound effects.
Words 9 to 14 - not sure, if you change either byte it seems to kill the song. The game won't crash until a sound effect must be played, such as hitting a DK barrel, banana, coin, monster sound, etc. Some bytes don't crash it though, it just totally kills the tempo. Some bytes make the sound go really weird then crash. It's weird. The second byte in the word must be default or it will crash. Specific notes: Word 10 applies to the death song only. Word 11 applies to the Diddy special win. Word 12 applies to the Dixie special win. Word 13 applies to a normal win. Word 14 applies to an alternate part of the song sometimes;. for example, Screech's Sprint.
Words 15 to 22 - see words 0 to 7, except this applies to the death song.
Word 23 - Tempo of the death song.
Words 24 to 31 - see words 0 to 7, except this applies to the Diddy win song.
Word 32 - Tempo of the Diddy win song.
Words 33 to 40
