Ok I choosed to take a written and physical (knows I won't pass this) test for the Army Reserve to see if I get in. Now that I've accepted to go through with it and it starts Wednesday night and ends Thursday since it's an over night deal. I'm scared now because I kind of want to get in but than again I really don't want to be accepted. Plus I was suppose to stay the night with one of my friends on Wednesday and Thursday.

What are you afraid of? I'm not quite sure why exactly. One positive thing I see is you are a reservist, which means you will not see immediate action if you get in, right? Also, it'll take even more training before you are deployed... so, i guess, as long as your reasons for signing up in the first place were good, then i don't see anything to worry about...

I'm not sure, but I think in the present situation, reservists are very likely to be sent to Iraq after completing training.

If you know you're not going to pass the physical portion, why are you taking the test anyways? (Unless they have special positions for those who don't pass the physical, such as only taking part in homeland issues...)

Don't take the test if there's no punishment attached to it. End of story. You sound unsure enough as is.

Was that worded wrong or something? XD

Do you want to go to Iraq and serve for America? Don't do this unless you're sure you want to.

Just keep your wits and don't let the DIs get to you or they'll put the fear of god on you. I've tried basic for a whole summer once and it's hell. Luckily, I was only 15 when I did it. I don't know how girls are trained exactly but you do what they tell you to do. If your DI is wrong, he/she is still right, like it or not.

You'll most likely go through several strenuous exercises that will really test your physical abilities. Don't expect things to be much easier. You sleep late and wake up early; by early, I mean 5:00AM sharp or earlier. Get ready in less than 15 minutes.

Inspection is also a major issue. Everyone has to be perfect and if one person messes up, everyone's in trouble. You don't want to be the one to screw things up. Although it's not likely, it's possible the other cadets will haze on you.

Just telling you generally what's ahead. You don't have to be scared, nor do you have to sign up. As long as you can make a choice you can begin or end it now.

The Army Reserve is helping me out with like finding a job and paying for school if I do get in. Basically how it works out in a way. Besides the Reserves don't go on the battlefield if they are deployed to Iraq they're there for suppore means. The National Guard is the one goes on the battle grounds if they're deployed. I figured I forgot to mention all that earlier. ;

Raven: The girls are trained the sameway as the guys are in basic training. I should know since I did go through one year of JROTC in high school.

OMG I'm sorry Cruel Justice I called you by your last username before you changed it. Well at least you don't mind that and yeah at least I do have the experience I gained from before.
