Lately, I've 2 gig flash stick in my pocket. It comes in handy but I have to be very careful with it. I almost washed it in my pocket and I would've been totally f*cked in my webmastering class.

Anyway, what do you use?

For now, CD-R.

But soon, I'm buying an MP3 Player, which will have more space than I will ever need.

Where's DVD-R/W, hmm? :\

And for this POS, it'd be CD-R.

I use floppies sometimes for quick transfer of small files. I mainly use my iPod now for generic storage. I have a Zip drive, but I rarely use it.

I put music, movies, and other media on our private file server, which has something like 200 gigs of HD capacity (and I think that's a low estimate). Personal documents go on my hard drive. I generally don't need to transport any of this stuff outside the house, but the last time I wanted to give a messload of data to someone, we burned it as data on a DVD.

CD-R, but that'll eventually become DVD-R probably within the year, given how the industry's going. :\ Then again, I usually don't have to transport data from point A to point B - I prefer doing my work at home.

I want to get a flash drive, but for right now, I just throw my back-ups/data on to a CD-R disc. Its not that I have a lot that I need to save anyway, though.

I do have a personal Apache webserver myself, but my IP like changes too often. Not cool.

I want a flash stick (they have 2GB now? ) but I'm stuck with CD-RWs. But with a 250GB HD I don't use them much anyway.

I usually end up backing everything up on CD-R, mostly because it seems like flash sticks are a bit on a pricy side.

Then again, I also haven't checked prices lately...
