| CLANG!!! That was the sound of an ice-elemental dagger clashing against an ice-elemental katana. In short: no effect. Bio Spark: "Hmph! You waste your time. In a mere 46 seconds, the Star Rod will be nothing but ashes. Watch." Bio Spark pointed to the flames, that were so close you could feel their heat... and the smoke was now forming a thick veil that kept anyone from seeing. Dark Limba #1: "ACK! I'm... chocking..." Dark Trooper #3: "Can't... see..." Bio Spark: "Hmm... it seems that the others cannot see anything... and logically, neither I, neither you can see anymore... not that we need that. If you truly have ninja skills... then you must be able to use senses other than your vision. Let us continue this fight, blind as we are!... not that we have much time left. In a mere 33 seconds, your precious legendary weapon is gone and so will we..." The ninja prepared itself to strike... The Plasma Wisps' glow could be seen trought the smoke veil. ((OoC: First off, how is the fire going to get closer when it's already all over us on the trees and such? Second off, I thought Kirby physics above all. I'm not gonna get killed the second I get covered in fire  Third off.. ))Kirbynite: .... Huh... Well.. funny you should say that... The Dreamlander started to peel his left dagger and apply the leaves over his head, and some to the sides of his arms. Kirbynite's voice was quite monotonous, as it has been for a while. Which was quite strange since he was previously full of anger. Kirbynite: Did you know my Star Rod has dealt with high heat? Probably thanks to all the weapon leveling up I've given it. Lavos wasn't exactly cool.. and handling one of Mr. Bright's children ain't that cool either, especially when you're transporting one through space. Ah... these leaves are so refreshing. Also, by the time you said 33 seconds was left, I noticed that there should have been atleast half a minute since you said 46 seconds. And guess what? I'm sure my monologue distraction lasted more than 15 seconds, There were choking sounds all over the area. The Star Rod's blurry illumination behind all the smoke was still intact. Kirbynite's voice was still sounding nasal-like.. Kirbynite: Idiots. If I can travel through space without protection, what makes you think I'm going to choke to death in smoke? The Dreamlander gripped the remaining leaf dagger tightly, and started to walk forward, towards his Star Rod. Bio Spark would be the only one that could strike him in the smoke, so Kirbynite was prepared for his attack. Unless the ninja had stupidly succumbed to the smoke. |

| OFF: Oops! Should have read my last post a few more times before actually posting it... Anyway, you are right, the smoke is not a problem... but since this is a forest, the floor is covered with grass and grass can be consumed by flames. As such, the smoke merely makes it harder to see. The flames, however, are still a problem (they won't burn the Star Rod... but Kirbynite can be harmed by the flames and he also mentionned something about the flames spreading and consuming the entire forest). ____________________________________________________________________ Dark Trooper #1: "ACK! ACK! Errr... WAIT A MINUTE! The half-breed is totally right! We do not need air to live! We can live in the vacuum of space!" Dark Matter: "Errr... I feel rather... humiliated... right now." Dark Limba #1: "Do not feel bad! We're so used to live inside of our hosts that we had forgotten for a second that our true forms can survive in places our hosts could never!" Dark Trooper #3: "There's still the problem of the fire however." Dark Limba #3: "We'll just have to fly away!" Dark Trooper #2: "And us, Dark Troopers? We can't fly!" Bio Spark stared at Kirbynite... he knew that he was the only one that was affected by the smoke... and while this ninja body was nice, he needed to get out before his host choked. Bio Spark: "Pl... Pl... Plasma Wisps! Emergency pla... plan #F!" The Plasma Wisps dived toward Bio Spark and grabbed him! Then, they escaped with Bio Spark!... well, with his host anyway. His true form, another real Dark Matter, was now in front of Kirbynite. PopStar doesn't have carriages that travel through forests, so grassless paths won't be made....)) Kirbynite: How ill-informed are all of you? You all are as bad as me. Cannon fodder. Kirbynite was not enjoying the walk. Walking with your eyes closed isn't fun at all, especially since it was a waste to even look. However, the knowledge of concealment, and the fact that the enemy forces seem to think they know a lot about him.. Kirbynite: Rain! Help me save the forest! Rain! All of a sudden, the smoke in the immediate area began to swirl around. Fresh air slipped into the area, and danced with the smoke and unusually colored wind. A small, female jester was sitting above a tiny cloud, which was now positioned far above Kirbynite. There was a constant torrent of rain.. but it was just in one little place. Kirbynite: ... Oh, hey, I was standing next to one of your Dark Matter peeps. The smoke in the area was cleared, revealing the Dreamlander with yet another weapon. It was full red shades, and had a heart on one of the ends. It had a similar appearance to that of Kirbynite's Star Rod, but it didn't have the same glowing intensity. After realizing he was next to a Dark Matter foe, Kirbynite spun around, swinging his Heart Star Rod at the enemy. |

| Dark Matter #2: "Huh? NOOOO!" SPLAT! Upon impact, the Dark Matter instantly exploded covering Kirbynite, the Heart Star Rod, the Dark Matters... well, pretty much everything near with black goo. Dark Trooper #2: "Eeew! Disgusting..." The smoke still kept the Dark Matters from seeing... but they now seen a faint glow trought the veil of smoke and they also heard the sound of rain... Dark Trooper #2: "That glow... ACK!" The enemies almost had a heart attack when they realised what weapon Kirbynite was using! Dark Limba #3: "SIR!" Dark Matter #1: "What?" Dark Limba #3: "He got the Heart Rod! We're doomed!" Dark Matter #1: "No we aren't... wait a minute... HEART ROD?!? AAAAARG!!! RETREAT! RETREAT!" All of the Dark Limbas as well as Dark Matter #1 ran for their lives. They knew what effects the Heart Rod had on Dark Matters... As such, only the Dark Troopers remained. Dark Trooper #2: "Hmm... mister half-breed? Can we... well... talk about it?" Dark Trooper #4: "KEEP THAT ROD AWAY FROM ME! KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME! AAAARG!" Dark Trooper #1: "Stop it already! THIS is why the Heartless are more feared than we are! Are we going to run for cover only becease this guy has the Heart Rod?" Dark Trooper #3: "Actually... since the Heart Rod is our biggest weakness, next to the Crystal Sword of course, we do have a good reason to run away, screaming like girls. Our chances of survival are next to nothing against the enemy." Dark Trooper #1: "Even if you wanted to run! The flames are surrounding us! | Kirbynite glanced at his weapon. Kirbynite: This? Strong? Wow, I rarely even use it... heck, it's not even leveled up enough to do radio calls. Kirbynite pats Dark Trooper #2 on the head. Kirbynite: Don't attack me, and I won't hurt you. If you're still standing around after I finish up, then maybe we can talk. The pink Dreamlander steps away from the Dark Trooper, and pulls out another card from underneath his cap. Kirbynite: Cloud! Help Rain out and spread the rain! Cloud! Release and dispel! Kirbynite twirled his Heart Star Rod and smacked the card. Colorful swirls of wind, with stray smoke and a few flickers of fire swept around the pink creature. A being, which looked just like Rain, emerged from the card. Like the one before her, Cloud was sitting ontop of... a cloud. She nodded at Kirbynite and looked up. She quickly zoomed up the tiny downfall of water. Kirbynite was looking straight up. He couldn't see past all the fire and smoke above, but he knew Cloud was increasing the size of Rain's rain cloud. His sights quickly moved down to Dark Trooper #1. With the flick of his wrist, Kirby launched the remaining leaf dagger right at the foe. |

| The Dark Troopers stared in disbelief as the strange creatures Kirbynite summoned used their powers to save the forest (as well as all those inside it) from the flames. Dark Trooper #1: "Well... well..." He turned around just in time to receive a leaf dagger right in the face! Dark Trooper #1 stared at the dagger that was stuck in his face and then, he melted into lifeless black liquid. Dark Trooper #2: "OH GREAT... HE GOT #1! HE GOT #1! HE LIED! HE'S GOING TO KILL US! RUN!!!" The remaining enemies all ran away without letting a chance for Kirbynite to explain or attack again. For some strange reason, the rain washed away the paint on Kirbynite. He was now free of the =PAINT= status problem. | Kirbynite: ..... wow. He thought I meant everyone? He was the only one that actually asked... *sighs* Darn.. And here I was hoping to gain a helper.. The Dreamlander scratched his head. Kirbynite: Guess I don't have to use Watery.... This was the second, or perhaps even third, time Kirbynite tried to setup a charge, only to have the enemy withdraw. He's not complaining, though. Kirbynite: Hey, Rain, Cloud. Good job. Just keep raining around the forest. I know you two haven't gotten all the fires. There was a crackle of lightning, letting Kirby know they said "ok". The pink creature looked ahead. His eyes had regained the green glow that was lost when the bright flames appeared. Because of the storm clouds above him, the forest was still very dark. However, had there been no clouds, the Mr. Shine would've lit his path, thanks to the burnt trees. Kirbynite: Why can't these guys leave behind a Warp Star? Geeze. Well, hopefully I can find a Warp Star when I reach Float Islands.. And with that, he put his Heart Star Rod away, and picked up the original Star Rod. He then continued on with his journey. |

| As Kirbynite pressed on foward, it seemed that he had almost reached the harbor town just next to Orange Ocean. There, he would probably be able to find a Warp Star or at least a vehicle of some sort to lead him to his father's castle... The Dark Limba went behind the counter and spoke with the manager (a Dark Matter). After a short conversation, the Dark Limba returned. Dark Limba: "Well, it's your lucky day mister! The rules do allow us to sell you a pass!... but we got news from Dark Thingies And Stuff Inc. HQ... and they say that becease that you're so special to us, we'll give you a special price! | A truly magnificient ship had landed just in front of Kirbynite. A Dark Trooper came out... Dark Trooper: "Hi sir! This spaceship will lead you to Mount Popstar within a mere minute or so!... but since our benevolent queen may or may not allow us to land immediately, we still included facilities that will keep you busy until we arrive... and let me tell you, they're 5 stars! Much better than those old ships the Dreamlanders had, let me tell you! Hahahahahahaha!!!... errr... anyway, get on board." The Dark Trooper returned in the ship. | The door closes behind Kirbynite... Dark Trooper: "OK! I'll bring you one right no..." The door opens! Dark Trooper: "Too bad! We're at already at destination! Good bye and thank you for choosing Dark Thingies And Stuff Inc.!" The Dark Trooper was right. The ship had already arrived at Mount Popstar! Kirby's castle had changed... a little bit. It was now totally black and surrounded by a veil of darkness. On the door was a large zero with a small two in the top right corner... the symbol 02 place on the door of her palaces... which means that Kirby's castle now belongs to 02 and has been totally overrun and transformed to fit 02's needs.
