| Kirbynite: Last time I rely on a Doom-type spell without casting Vanish. Hey, you could've atleast done Evil Gate to pull down the hit points! Erase: *shrugs* Kirbynite: Ah, whatever. Erase, return to your power confined. With a wave and a flick of a Star Rod, Erase had changed back to a card and flew back to Kirbynite's reach. Kirby looked over at the Dark Matter. Kirbynite: I don't like how you're just sitting there, concentrating. Hey! Listen to me when I'm talking! He picks up a rock from the ground. He gives it a little toss up in the air and catches it as it falls back down. His hand is slowly enveloped by a white aura. The rock becomes blessed with light. Kirbynite: Never thought the light blessing ability I got over in Termina would actually be helpful. ... Then again.. I can't believe I actually wasted my time learning how to use the Light Arrow magic into blessing objects other than arrows... He looks over at the Dark Matter bit, and then tosses the light blessed rock at him, hoping its shattering would do something. |

| The Dark Matter suddenly opened it's eye and unleashed it's charged energy. It fired 4 innacurate but incredibly powerful thunderbolts of dark energy. The first one struck the incoming blessed rock, shattering it. The second bolt would strike a tree to the far right of Kirbynite and as such, it was impossible it would connect unless Kirbynite had thrown himself into the bolt on purpose. The third one was actually aimed correctly: Kirbynite would have to dodge it. The final one was aimed at Kirbynite too... but at an incorrect angle. | Kirbynite: The small light overcome by darkness in such a way.. Pokemon stuff didn't tell me how to deal with that... The Dreamlander began to yell as he grabbed onto his left arm. A white aura flowed out of his left arm, which was soon hidden beneath white light. The third bolt of dark energy finally reaches Kirbynite, and his left hand. A shockwave shot out between Kirbynite and the dark energy. The thunderbolt of dark energy was suspended before the Dreamlander. The bolt began to split apart, under the immense amount of light being emmitted from Kirbynite's arm. All of a sudden, the entrancing dark color in the core of the bolt began to dissolve into a lighter shade. The energy stopped spilling out and was now frozen. Kirbynite: Riku and the Underground FanZ did tell me a thing or two. He snatched the newly charged bolt from the air, and looked at the Dark Matter bit. With a bit of a Zeus-like flair, Kirbynite chucked the bolt back at the Dark Matter. |

| Dark Matter did not espect such an attack and as such, was struck by the bolt. A mix of intense dark and light energy filled Dark Matter, inflicting much pain and even more damage than if pure light would have struck him. Dark Matter: "AAAAAARG!" After being shocked for a while, Dark Matter finally got a hold of himself. Dark Matter: "W... w... what?!? W... w... where did this bastard got this power?!?... Why am I asking this? He got it during his past adventures against that Lavos thingy! Well... I guess I'll have to retreat!" The Dark Matter ran away (floated away?) before Kirbynite could attack it again. With all the enemies defeated, Kirbynite can now progress to the next area. The only clue he got so far about his friend's location is that 02 got into his father's castle... but that's all. | Kirbynite: Lavos? Wow, kinda shows how much attention even foes have on me. Kirbynite looks at his hands as the white aura with hints of black colors slowly faded. Memories of Termina flowed through his mind before switching over to Riku. Kirbynite: Can't believe how strong the fusion of the two can be.... Makes me kinda wish I would've absorbed some of Dani's powers instead of just having a Dark attribute added... Kirbynite looked at Mt. PopStar, formally known as Mt. Dedede, in the distance. He let out a small sigh. Kirbynite: ARGH! Why didn't that creep leave behind a Warp Star?! It's gonna take me a long time to trek through Whisper Wood at this time of da.. night. He took note of the rapidly decending Mr. Bright. Kirbynite: I just hope I can catch a boat at Float Islands in time... And with that, the pink Dreamlander ran off into the thick forest to continue his journey. |

| Becease of the trees, it was already dark in the woods. As soon as Kirbynite made it more or less halfway trought the woods, more than a dozen of characters stepped out of the shadows and trapped Kirbynite in the middle of the trail. The leader of the characters, a Knuckle Joe, stepped foward. Knuckle Joe: "Well well well! So you made it this far... I am the leader of this fine squad. Queen 02's orders were very simple. I am to put an end to your journey and bring you back to her, dead or alive." Knuckle Joe laughed. Knuckle Joe: "News of your victory against 501032 travelled quickly... and as such, to prevent our fKitten Yiffer, our squad received some little toys which I'm sure you'll like." The enemy leader took out some kind of replica of the Star Rod... Knuckle Joe: "Everyone! Plan A!" The enemies jumped back into the shadows... but as they did, Knuckle Joe shot a star with the Star Rod toward the sky!... it's then that the difference between this fake and the real Star Rod became evident: it was shooting black stars unstead of white ones! The black star travelled toward the sky for a while and then exploded... covering the forest with a thick veil of darkness! The darkness was so thick that it was impossible to see anything. The only sources of light were the two Plasma Wisps and even then... they did not emitted much light. Knuckle Joe: "How do you like that? You can't see anything anymore!" Chilly: "Maybe... but we can't see anything either!" Bio Spark: "That darkness doesn't bother me..." Waddle Dee: "Easy for you to say! Bio Sparks have the power of night vision!" Knuckle Joe: "Silence! Prepare for phase 2 of Plan A!" Waddle Dee: "Sir! The Plasma Wisps' light are revealing our positions!" Bio Spark: "Shut UP!" BANG! Waddle Dee: "OW! | When all of the dark matter creatures finally returned their attention to Kirbynite, they realized that he wasn't there anymore. His Star Rod was jammed into the ground, with the star giving off some light. There was a rustle in the trees above all of them. |

| All the enemies were hiding behind the bushes and as such, at the exeption of the Plasma Wisps, were not visible. Chilly: "Oh no! The enemy is playing nasty tricks!" Knuckles Joe: "Do not panic! Everything is going according to plan." Knuckles Joe did something to his fake Star Rod and it suddenly turned into a large paintbrush covered with a strange liquid... it was the Paint copy ability! Knuckles thrown 2 spheres of paint at the Plasma Wisps. Upon impact, they were slightly damaged but the paint stopped them from emitting light. Knuckles Joe: "Are you OK, troops?" Plasma Wisp #1: "Body stability OK." Plasma Wisp #2: "Damage minimal. Everything is fine." Knuckles Joe: "Fine! Keep moving! Kirbynite can no longer see us... and he must not locate us! Bio Spark! Use your night vision and locate the enemy! I'll spray him with ultra-flashy paint!" The enemies began to move around, hiding behind the bushes, trying to stay hidden. While they moved, Bio Spark looked around, trying to locate Kirbynite using the noise... | All of a sudden, a round silouette with green, glowing eyes popped out some bushes behind Bio Spark and Knuckle Joe. "Garrrr!" It was a halfhearted noise, but it would've scared any campers who stayed up late, telling each other ghost stories. |

| Chilly shrieked in terror as the silouette popped out of the bushes... but Knuckles Joe and Bio Spark did not. They both heard the noise that came from behind and turned around. Knuckles Joe: "NOW!" | Kirbynite: Gack! Kirbynite was pelted in the fact by a ball of paint and was knocked back into the bushes, completely avoiding Bio Spark's barage of knives. In a few seconds, Kirbynite got back up, wiping some paint out of his eyes. Kirbynite: Illuminating paint? If you can't see my glowing eyes through bushes, what makes you think you're gonna see me with this stuff? ... And it ain't even electrical paint! Though... I'll have to admit, I don't like having this brightness so around my vision.. *looks up* I wonder if leaves share the same properties as paper.. Taking a page from Mario's adventures on Isle Delfino, Kirbynite began to twist his body around and moved one of his feet infront of the other. He managed to push against the ground and launched himself into the air. The red cap wearing Dreamlander spun around in the air, centrifuging the paint off of him and spewing it out in random directions. And just like that, Kirbynite swung off a tree branch, and recontinued his hiding within the thick brushes. |

| However, Kirbynite was still covered with a thin layer of paint. This was the same kind of paint that Kirbynite's father had used against that huge chameleon inside of an underground castle, long ago. Unless Kirbynite was either hit with a strong water attack or was thrown into a strong current of water, the paint would remain, making him visible even in the most complete darkness. Knuckles Joe: "BINGO!" Bio Spark: "Now we can proceed with part C of our plan, right?" Knuckles Joe: "Yep! Time to show that half-breed what TRUE Dark Matters can do!" The enemies stopped running around and stood still, in the darkness... but as they did so, they seemed to be concentrating... ((Tsk tsk.. ignoring game physics. Mario never had that problem  ))Kirbynite: Good God, these guys sound worse than High Elves. The Dreamlander continued to move around, occassionally shaking leaves off of some branches. In monkey shines, more and more of the paint on him was smeared onto the leaves. All the paint smearing, added with the previous spin jump's spin wash, basically made the entire area full of glowing globs of paint. The glow was definitely not enough to light up anything, but it was another perfect way to hide. The leave shakings stopped, and the rustling became quieter and quieter... |

| OFFC: Actually... the Kirby games physics work in priority over the Mario games physics in Kirby's world (DUH!). In Kirby Superstar, the chameleon boss wouldn't be able to get the paint off him once you struck him with the Paint ability. The same happened here. Kirbynite got struck with the Paint ability and now has a permanent status problem... well, permanent in the sense that it will last until Kirbynite finds a body of water and throw himself into it. ____________________________________________________________________ However for Kirbynite, his attempt at getting the paint off him didn't worked. It was as if the paint had caused him to change color unstead of just being painted or something... Knuckles Joe: "HERE WE COME!" Knuckles Joe executed his Fire Uppercut on the closest tree and then, the tree catched on fire!... and this caused every plant next to it to catch on fire too!... which caused more plants to catch on fire too! All in all, the fire caused a chain reaction that caused the entire forest to get caught on fire! Knuckles Joe: "Good! Everyone save for the Plasma Wisps and Bio Spark, leave your hosts!" All the enemies got out of their hosts. The hosts remained there confused for a while and then ran away. The Dark Matter that was inside of the knuckles revealed itself first. It was a bit larger than Kirbynite and was covered with spikes. A real Dark Matter in short. The others Dark Matters were Dark Troopers and Dark Limbas in equal numbers. The Dark Troopers were solid and had legs as well as two grey spikes on the back of their bodies. They were easy to recognise becease that they were the only ones with two eyes. They were a bit smaller than Kirbynite. The Dark Limbas were similar to the Dark Matter but seemed a lot less stable as they seemed to be constantly falling apart. They also had no spike and were, just like the Dark Troopers, smaller than Kirbynite. The enemies easily spotted Kirbynite and surrounded him. Dark Matter: "You are surrounded." Dark Trooper #1: "If you try to run away, we'll get you!" Dark Limba #1: "If you try to fly away, we'll get you!" Bio Spark: "And if you get past the Dark Troopers and Dark Limbas... then know that I planted mines everywhere in preparation for this moment!" Plasma Wisp: "And if you try to fly over the mines... we'll fry you with plasma energy!" Dark Matter: "You are doomed, half-breed! You shall remain there while the forest burn and we will remain there, watching you and keeping you from escaping the whole time! | OoC: Hm.. well.. alright.. I'll let you get off as if it was a status ailment And don't forget that Heavy Lobster also got painted on. But see, the paint only works if the enemy is weak against it. Chameleon Arm changes colors and becomes invisible. Heavy Lobster is a machine and isn't made to deal with paint getting into its sensors. See? ------------------ Kirbynite was easily forced out of the branches. He landed on the ground, with no trouble at all. The pink Dreamlander noticed he was well surrounded. He also noticed a few leaves being kicked up into the air by his landing and the fact that his Star Rod was on the other side of some of the Dark Matter. However, his main focus wasn't the Star Rod. Something bigger than that was harder to ignore. The forest was becoming an inferno. At this rate, the fire would reach Whispy, and completely destroy the Whisper Woods. He needed to summon Watery as soon as he could. Kirbynite: You.. bloody... bastards. He was still looking up at the flaming branches above his head. Kirbynite: First, you interupt my vacation. Then, you kidnap Mitra, who didn't do a single thing to you guys. And now you begin to destroy homes for not only Dreamlanders but the Pokemon we allowed to stay? And possibly killing more innocents!? I let some of the others to run away, but you guys... You're just Heartless with voice boxes. Kirby's eyes were still glowing green, but now they flared up to a brighter intensity. He gritted his teeth and straightened out his arms by his sides. A leaf slowly fluttered down infront of Kirbynite. he quickly snatched it out of the air, and waved his arm around. Leaves began to whip up around Kirby's body. All of the leaves were linked with one another. The pink creature held up his arm, and continued to twirl around a long line of linked leaves. Kirbynite: None of you are going to leave this place ALIVE! He dropped his arm infront of him. All of a sudden, the leaves straightened out. As strange as it was, all of the leaves seemed like they were thin blades. Kirbynite recoiled his arm, and shot out an explosion of razor sharp leaves in every direction. |

| The enemies held their ground. The Dark Matter shot dark thunderbolts and deflected a good number of the leaves. The Plasma Wisps shot arrows at the leaves too and Bio Spark thrown daggers. All in all, only three of the Dark Troopers were struck... but it was a close call. Obviously, these are no ordinary Dark Troopers. These guys are obviously elite soldiers... and the fire grows closer... Dark Matter: "So... you met with the raw matter that we use to increase our numbers... we never understood why you called the Raw Darkness "Heartless". They are mere bodies that slowly turn into darkness. We feed on the souls of those you call "Heartless" and infuse their bodies with our essence, creating new members for our specie and increasing our numbers." Dark Trooper #1: "Such an explanation is... not needed." Dark Matter: "Since we are all going to burn here, it is useless to hide anything from him. Anyway... 02 is truly the incarnation of darkness. She has been pulling the strings on nearly every villain to date, manipulating them with nightmares and visions... they think they can control the Darkness... but the Darkness control them." The Dark Matter floated there... Dark Matter: "Our queen... is more than she seems to be. She is more terrible than you can imagine... but for some reason, your father always seemed to defeat her. We fail to understand... our queen fought far stronger heroes before... and yet, she lost to your father, again and again and again and again..." | Kirbynite: .. wh.. what? But.. I was informed that the Heartless don't belong in this dimension... I.. I mean.. I've never even heard about any incidents involving natural Key Blades.. Kirby decided to stop talking outloud and start putting things together in his head. He didn't need to waste anymore time. He had to avoid being blown away or hit by something that would be a knock down attack, since everything in the local area was on fire. The Dreamlander grabbed a huge bunch of leaves, and somehow compressed it all into one, tiny ball. He chucked the ball over at one of the Dark Limbas's feet. Kirbynite then scooped up a few leaves, which all seemed to mysteriously remain attached to one another. He scooped up a few more leaves with his other hand, and formed dagger-shaped objects from the leaves. He looked at the Star Rod, which was still humming to itself. Kirbynite: It wasn't just the Crystal Sword. It was the force behind it. Pops.. and everyone who was behind him and cheering for him. Still not done with the non-sensical leaf tricks, Kirbynite waved his right arm at the last few leaves on the ground. The leaves twirled around his head, and formed a bandana, just underneath his cap. And with that, the pink creature charged towards his Star Rod, holding his leaf daggers to his sides. |

| Bio Spark seemingly teleported in front of Kirbynite in an explosion of smoke and slashed his daggers with his magical katana, probably destroying his daggers or even worse, cutting Kirbynite in pieces! Should Kirbynite somehow avoid the attack, the Plasma Wisps were ready to take over. They shot fully charged spheres of plasma just behind Bio Spark from ground level so that if Kirbynite tried to run past Bio Spark, he would be knocked into the fire unstead on top of receiving heavy damage. Dark Matter: "Going somewhere? Hahaha!" During this time... the fire was getting awfully close to the Star Rod... In fact, the smoke was beginning to form a thick veil. | The Dreamlander performed a quick hop during Bio Spark's slash attack. Not only did he dodge the attack, he was actually standing on the sword. Kirbynite: I don't need the ninja ability to do a ninja-like trick. I was part of a thieving and ninja guild back on earth for a while. Kirby's left hand glowed blue, which began to change the left dagger to an azure blue color. Kirbynite did a quick backflip off of the sword, and slashed at Bio Spark's katana. The leaf daggers were blessed with ice, and thus would give Bio Spark a freezing experience. He landed infront of the Bio Spark, with the dark ninja still between Kirbynite and the Plasma Wisps. |
