| (Only Dracoon may reply to this thread) OFF: Since you are using a powerful character (a deity to be more exact), there will be a new wave every turn. Each wave is made from 1 to 5 enemies. The type of enemies you face is determined randomly. Every 10 posts, the strenght of the enemies will increase and will keep on increasing until Origin's HP reach 0 or until he successfully runs away. I hope you'll enjoy this challenge! ____________________________________________________________________ In some random flat grass lands, trouble was brewing... It was heard that the deity Origin had been spotted in those plains... and the evil army called the "Crazy Bunch" had decided that killing off this deity would make them famous... The first wave was made of only a single, very old mage, a single footsoldier who wielded nothing more than a standart iron sword and a small wooden shield, and 3 rookie archers. Warrior: "Hmmm... you're sure we can take him?" Mage: "100% sure! I may have grown old... but I still have some impressive magic!" Warrior: "You can barely lit a candle with your magic!" Mage: "I DID NOT HEAR THIS! Anyway... even if we can't take him, there are lots... and I mean LOTS of reinforcements coming. | Origin: "They can't be serious..." Origin floated in the sky a little above them, looking down, listening. Origin: "I could probably kill them on accident... Well, I can't let trouble makers stay around her, so I'll just finish them quickly. Then I need to find out why I'm talking to myself." Origin shot down, trying to go in the middle of the group, striking the ground with his spear, making it explode upwards, but all the rocks somehow missed him and only went outwards. |

| The enemies didn't stood a chance. The blast reduced all of them to ashes instantly. Suddenly, a small sphere of ice was sent flying toward Origin from the north and a small fireball was sent flying toward Origin from the south! | OOC Wait, I choose if I get hit as long as I keep it in limits? Origin stood facing east and threw his spear into the air. He waited for both the ice and fire ball to get close and then made a sudden burst of energy with his aura in an attempt to throw them back to where they came from. |

| Off: Anwser to your anwser: Yes. ____________________________________________________________________ Origin's defensive tech worked perfectly. The two apprentices were barely able to avoid the reflected attacks... Apprentice #1: "This is bad..." Apprentice #2: "Maybe but... look! The reinforcements are there!" Another apprentice arrived. Apprentice #1: "Just one more mage? You call that reiforcements? We should wait until more guys arrive before we actually attack!" | OFF: Decided to change how the number of enemies was displayed. Unstead of: ============================================================ =enemies enemies on the battlefield / enemies in the current wave / total enemies fought ============================================================ It shall be: ============================================================ =enemies enemies on the battlefield / total enemies fought ============================================================ ____________________________________________________________________ The shockwave destroyed the two first apprentices and a gigantic chunk of rock fell down, crushing the third. However... as soon as those enemies have been dispatched, an arrow came from the north, aimed at Origin's head! A new wave of enemies had arrived. This time, it was an aging old man that was obviously a white wizard, a rookie archer, and an old knight that seemed a bit... insane? Knight: "GAH! There's the enemy!" Archer: "Actually... this is just a rock. The enemy is over here." Knight: "GAH! I knew that!" | Origin jerked his head, hearing the arrow, but it was to late for him to dodge a fast moving projectile, he dodged a direct hit, but a graze on his face showed he'd almost been hit. Origin: "More of them?" Origin flew into the sky and looke downward, seeing the three. He knew he could kill at least one with his spear, but he had a better idea. Origin: "Where are you comming from!" |

| Suddenly, more reinforcements came! Two more archers and two more mages came out of seemingly nowhere! Mage #1: "Who we are?" Mage #2: "We are..." Mage #3: "... the..." Knight: "... CRAZY BUNCH!" Archer #1: "We're the army of the evil Lord Bad Guy and soon, we shall become famous by slaying YOU, Origin!" Archer #2: "Indeed! Lord Bad Guy has heard about you and..." Archer #3: "... we could become famous if we killed you!" Knight: "GAH! CHARGE!!!" Mage #1: "Err... he's too high and you're the only melee fighter here for now..." Knight: "GAH! FIRE!!!" The archers aimed carefully and shot arrows at Origin while the mages shot thunderbolts! | Origin: "Well then... I better show you some real power." Origin focused his energy inside himself, his aura becoming plainly visable, the winds picked up around him, circling, making a shield of sorts against the attacks. Origin's wings opened wide and his aura grew outwards, washing over everything, sapping the life force out of enemies. Origin roared and he started to glow. OOC: I really hope it does get harder. |

| OFF: Don't worry... it WILL get harder! Now for Level 2! This time, the enemies will actually have good equipment and battle training/experience. It shouldn't be much harder... but these new enemies will actually fight back unstead of letting Origin crush them. ____________________________________________________________________ The aura blast reduced all enemies to nothingness but then suddenly... an arrow was sent flying toward Origin's chest! Unlike the other past arrows, this one was actually quite fast and the aim wasn't off and as such, it would pass trought the winds and actually reach Origin unless he dodged. Two more enemies had appeared... and they were unlike any of the past enemies. These ones wore actual armor and wielded weapons that were fit for battle. They also seemed a lot more determined than the rookies Origin had fought. Warrior: "Here we are!" Archer: "Go on! I'll cover you!" The warrior began to try and run around Origin, looking for an opening while the archer aimed another arrow at Origin's chest. -Origin- (9) (IIIIIIII--) -Enemies- =TOTAL 2/17 =warriors 1/3 =archers 1/7 =mages 0/7 -difficulty level will be raised in 5 posts- -Score- 5 posts 15 kills |

| Surprisingly enough, the warrior was actually able to dodge the attack!... even if it was a very close call! After sidestepping Origin's attack, the warrior attempted a counter-attack by slashing Origin's right arm with his sword! During this time, another archer joined the first archer and both of them began to shoot around Origin, not at him, trying to keep him from evading the warrior's attack. Two warriors entered the battlefield from the sides and dashed toward Origin from behind. The first one tried to strike him using a long iron spear while the other wielded a mace. | Origin: "Aura manipulation!" Origin's aura harden around him, practically turning into an armor that would take massive streangth to break. Origin knew he wouldn't be hurt and actually punched at the first warrior and kicked at the other two, while thorwing his spear at the magic in a wierd flipping flurry. As his little combo ended, his wings shot open, sending a huge gust of wind at the archers. Origin: "I hope thats enough for you." |

| Since the warriors' attacks are failing, they decide to back off... which was obviously a good idea. Each of the warriors was able to dodge Origin's attacks... more or less. The first warrior received Origin's punch, which sent him backward a little bit thus sparing him from being hit by the other attacks... but it harmed him a bit. The two other warriors blocked Origin's kicks with their shields but on impact, the second warrior's shield was sent flying away from him while the third warrior's shield was completely pierced thus being made useless. The mage espected Origin to attack and as such, countered his spear with a spell. Knowing that trying to overpower a deity is suicide, he simply opened a small portal leading to Origin's head and let the spear enter it, and exit just above Origin's head! As for the gust of wind... unlike the mage, the archers did not espect a counter attack. The gust sent both flying. The first was sent flying quite high and landed head-first on a pointy rock, which killed him. The second one landed on the grass without suffering much damage... but since he's now a bit dizzy, he won't attack for this turn. Suddenly, the warriors were bathed in a blue light and their speed was increased. A mage, this time a young woman wielded a staff, had appeared next to the remaining archer. Mage #2: "Don't let up! Keep the pressure! Let's get him!" The mage began to cast another spell... -Origin- (9) (IIIIIIII--) -Enemies- =TOTAL 6/22 =warriors 3/5 =archers 1/8 =mages 2/9 =WARNING!=DIFFICULTY LEVEL WILL BE RAISED IN 3 POSTS=WARNING!= -Score- 7 posts 16 kills |

| Origin reached up and grabbed his spear, now noticing each person around him, actually notcing what made up their powers. Origin: "Aura Manipulation 2!" Origin's aura exploded outwards, interacting with anyone inside of it, quickly sapping life force and strength into Origin. Origin: "You are better than the others, but still, you have no chance, send your leader against me, and then we can fight." |

| The warriors quickly lost life. Then, two more warriors appeared out of nowhere and approached Origin as close as they could without entering the aura. Two more mages appeared too! One to the left of Origin and another one to his right. Archer: "You understimate the Crazy Bunch! Believe me... you'll never live long enough to see our leader!" The archer aimed at Origin and prepared to fire... but before doing so, all of the mages united and casted a spell on the archer's arrow. Archer: "Eat this!" The archer shot the arrow. | Origin didn't have time to move and took a direct hit, the arrow sunk in about a quater of an inch and then fell out. Origin didn't bother checking to see if his chest was all right. Had he not had his aura up, it would've done real damage, this wouldn't hurt that bad. Origin took to the skys and flew towards the archer at a high speed, bringing a sonic boom with him. | |||

| OFF: I'll assume Origin tried to strike the archer on the way altought you didn't specified if your character had struck or had just flied toward the enemy, doing nothing. ____________________________________________________________________ The mages tried to cast a spell to protect the archer but Origin was too fast. The archer was sent flying by the sheer power of Origin's attack... but he was dead before even reaching the ground. The others stared at Origin. In their current state, they were powerless before him. A new warrior came... Warrior: "Good news! We're getting reinforcements!... and they have magical equipment with them!" Mage #1: "About time! We've done all we could... but we need magical equipment to beat that guy! Origin shot towards the sky and started to focus power, he looked around first, knowing he would be within range of a good bowmen, he flew up even higher, now almost a full mile in the air and looking down at the ground, they were all just specks, but he wouldn't need to see them. Origin started to glow as he focused. |
