| OFF: Actually... in the Chronicles of Darkness serie (the RPs in which Ex was created)... Darkness = Shadow Darkness =/= Evil In short, being evil or not in the Chronicles of Darkness universe is not a question of whenever the being use the holy Light or destructive Darkness... but rather how the powers are used. In short, if it bothers you that much... then consider that Ex is Shadow-elemental unstead of Dark-elemental. |

| OOC: To Seph... Remember that controlling other characters, even through an attack (unless they were summoned creatures, probably) is probably not going to be allowed. Furthermore, it's not cool to have this end-of-the-world-for-everyone-else intro. Sim-Battling is not supposed to make one character the center of attention, it's supposed to be fair for all players. And quite frankly I don't like it when you make these ultra-super powerful attacks, without even charging up, on your very first turn. And lastly, no killing is allowed in Sim-Battles. That is to ensure that other posters can use their characters for all future battles. Now I'm no mod, don't get me wrong, but I thought you may want to hear the lowdown on what's right. Anyways... Korra is hit full on by Ex's Dark Overdrive attack, and as the attack hits, a rainbowish-purple energy shell coats his body and he is frozen in time. Ami runs up in shock, and almost starts crying. She turns to Ex and speaks for the first time. "You may not harm Korrachi." She seems like she's about to attack, when Kraven rains on their parade. She stares at the demon, not even terrified. Before it attacks, she speaks to it. "You do not frighten me. Your attacks do not freeze my brother in time." She throws in a smirk, too. Then, when the attack comes her way, she focuses and fires a large energy blast out of the crystal in her helmet (her strongest projectile weapon, and it can only be used when Ami is upset) at the dark wave. The attack should cancel out both projectiles in a large, damaging explosion between the two characters. "You do not belong here," Ami says to Kraven. "Let me settle this personally with Ex." P.S. Delete your header, will ya? It's really arrogant to keep score of who loses to you. Sim-Battling is supposed to be fun! |

| Ex turned around to face Kraven. As the wave struck Ex, she glowed in a purple light and... nothing. No damage, no mind-controlling effects... just Ex glowing purple for a second and that's all. Ex: "Kraven, right? You do not belong in this fight. Your powers are way too extreme for them to handle... and anyway, you're so full of yourself and everything that the creatures called "Mods" and "Admins" would banish you in seconds. If you really want that much to fight... then wait for me in the Prison Dimension. For now... leave us alone or face the consequences of your acts!" The way Ex stared at Kraven... yes, most definitely! She meant business and unless Kraven respected the rules, he WILL regret it! Ex *thinks* Nothing beats a transmission to a "Mod" or "Admin" when Seph and her gang of clowns show up. They're so full of themselves that it's very hard NOT to find material to use against them. |

OFF: So be it then... with that in mind, I'll leave, but ONLY because I'm not hosting this battle, and as such, I have no say in this (whether or not my characters, especially my "more-powerful" characters, should be permitted into this battle). The way I see it, the host/starter of these threads ALWAYS gets the last say in how things are run during the battle, INCLUDING the set of rules... AND once someone decides to accept the challenge, and thereon ABIDING by the given rules for such a fight, that such rules become FINAL and the Mods/Admins have no power over it unless otherwise noted. While they can still come in and say/do "this" or "that", or close the thread, or whatever, it wouldn't count, unless they grant them to power to do so for whatever reason (in short, it's up to them to decide what goes and what doesn't. They don't HAVE to let the moderators call the shots; they don't even have to fight using any rules if they don't want to! It would be completely, 100% pointless, but they still can.  )Also, a little "side-note"... if you find a certain post in any SB in which I'm involved in to be rather "questionable" (as in may be of some violation to the rules), just tell me, and USUALLY, I will fix it immediately, unless I have a good reason to believe such actions should have been legal. | OOC: Man, Seph, that stinks! You enter our battle and start forcing your beliefs on us! NOT cool, man! But enough mod-imitating on my part. As Kraven vanishes, Ami turns around to face Ex again. "How did you do that? It is quite an ability to dodge all damage just like that. I wish I could understand." She looks backward. Korra is still frozen. "But you do not use that against me and Korrachi! That is honor. You are very honorable, and I hope to be allies with you... after the spar is done." Ami walks to Korra and places her palms on his frozen-in-time shoulder. What's she doing now? Either way, even though she's not attacking, the match is on and she's still anyone's target... |

| Ex turned to Ami and smiled. Ex: "What you saw... was the Dark Aura, a glimpse of my true power. My true power... is beyond your imagination. It knows no bounds, no limits... Even the strongest deity could only dream of the power I wield..." Ex's smile widened. Ex: "However... I have no interest in using my full power on you. I want to fight you using only the powers I used before evolving beyond Time, beyond Space, beyond Fate. I want to see if my skills have rusted in all those years drifting trought the Timelines, toying with the destiny of mortals and immortals alike." Ex paused. The way she stared at Ami... she was looking at her as Ex was a child that was about to tell another child a cool secret or something... Ex: "You know what? I'm a living weapon. I was created as a weapon of war against Evil... and Evil was destroyed in the Timeline where I come from. As such... I decided to drift into other Timelines, evolving even further and making more experiences. I merely exist to make experiences... to have fun." Ex lied down on thin air, as if there was an invisible couch under her... Ex: "My definitions of fun are very weird, according to some people. While I do like games, parties, sports, love, and all those kinds of things... my most favorite way of having fun is to beat up bad guys and free people from their sad fate. Nothing is more satisfying to me than save an entire world from an imminent threat or to throw down an evil tyrant." Ex floated in a way that she stood up again. Ex: "In this case... I am testing my skills against mortals in a free-for-all." Ex landed and stood there for a while... Ex: "Enough with the tricks, now! I'll continue the fight... without tricks and with just normal powers!" |

| Ami takes her palms off Korra and turns around. "Well, we're peacekeepers... If you ever need a hand in fighting evil, we'll be there." Now Korra flashes once, like a strobelight, and the colored gridlock surrounding him is gone. Korra is no longer frozen in time. Ami had just drawn the negative energy freezing him into her body, in turn afflicting herself with a less severe version of the timefreeze; a slow condition, one that'll last a while. "Whad'I miss, Ex? Ami, let's do another Team Attack! I'm pumped!" "Impossible. I've been slowed." "Ami, you're speaking! That means you're anxious, probably because... Aha! Ex, you slowed her after you froze me!" "Korrachi, do not jump to--" "Rrgh, I'm mad! Let's battle!" Korra dashes at Ex and tries a flying roundhouse at Ex's torso. Maybe this ain't the right approach, given the effects of Dark Weapon, but Korra has, at the time, no awareness of that detail... |

| Ex smiled and simply held Dark Weapon in front of her. Since the blade was so big, it would be next-to-impossible for Korra to strike anything but the flat surface of the Dark Weapon... but striking it's flat surface bare-handed is just as dangerous as striking it's edge. It was very probable that for each punch delivered to Dark Weapon, one bone in Korra's hands would break. Ex: "You have missed the opportunity of listening to your friend and avoiding massive damage. What happens to you afterward is entirely your fault." If Ex had successfully blocked all the punches (very likely), she would proceed to spin, continuously slashing Korra horizontally. After striking 4 times, she would duck, placing Dark Weapon below Korra, and would jump straight up, stabbing Korra "where it counts". Since Ex was wielding Dark Weapon with just one hand and did not freeze time during her attack, it was very possible for Korra to dodge the slashes... but it wouldn't be easy. Since the Dark Weapon is seemingly as heavy as a feather to Ex, she can swing it just as fast as (if not faster than) any master. If Ex had been struck, then she'll step backward and spin, slashing Korra's neck once with Dark Weapon and shooting 4 non-elemental medium-weak energy with her Blaster at his torso. |

| While being ignored, Kire decided to gather a bit of divine power, and pull out his usual Japanese Sword, in place of the Kodacies. Note that this one isn't inscribed with alchemy or nothing, but anyone should be able to sense the latent energy within[/] Kire steps out of the shadow realm behind Ex, as Ex and Korra are in the middle of a bout of strikes against eachother "My deity is not to be underestimated." OOC: Kire intends to take Ex's claim of her power as a bluff, though far from underestimating her himself. Kire moves his sword higher into the air swings toward Ex, sending forth a bright flame of white holy fire "Ryuu Palidin Seiyu Faia!" |

| OOC: A roundhouse isn't a punch, it's a kick. The attacker spins once and brings a high-aimed kick to bear in the process. But I get the drift... Korra's kick connects with the Dark Weapon. This stuns Korra for a split second. "That felt odd..." he thinks, right before Ex performs her mighty combo. Korra gets three horizontal slashes across the chest, splitting open his cybornetic body! He stumbles back involuntarily to avoid the 4th hit and finale of the combo. Korra's split-open cybornetic chest crackles with grey bolts of electricity. Though no blood is there, it's still scary. Ami runs up as fast as she can, given her slow condition. Instead of crying like she usually does, she says coldly, "Told you." Korra falls to one knee. "Nice attack, foe..." Ami doesn't attack for now, not wanting to risk being hit with the blade that busted up Korra so badly... |

| OFF: I'll assume that Kire's attack strikes not only with the flame but with the sword too. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex smiled. She was getting the upper hand and the best in all of that was that she didn't even have to freeze time! Looks like she's still as skilled as ev... Kire: "My deity is not to be understimated!" Ex turns around just in time to receive Kire's attack right in the face! SLASH! FWOOSH! Direct hit! A direct strike to the head like this would have killed most normal beings instantly... but Ex was no ordinary being. She walked backward while putting her right hand on her face in an instinctive attempt to protect it from further harm. Then, she remove her hand and noticed that it's covered in blood. Ex: "Well.. I DID asked for it... I was a bit overconfident." Ex closed her eyes and her incredible regenerative abilities came into action. The wound on her face closed almost instantly leaving her seemingly good as new... but in truth, Ex cannot summon energy from thin air to heal damage; she extracted energy from other body parts to heal her head. With her face healed, Ex was ready to continue the fight. Ex: "Holy energy... could have worked... but I was designed in a way that I would have no elemental weakness a clever foe could use to it's advantage. Keep trying, however! This is starting to get exciting!" Ex stared at Kire... and she was also keeping an eye on Team Gemini using Dark Weapon as a second set of eyes. |

| Noticing themselves being watched by the eye of Dark Weapon (OOC: If I remember correctly, it does have one eye), Ami thinks of a plan. Focusing, she fires a single small energy beam aimed perfectly at the eye of Dark Weapon. This is to blind it temporarily. Then she focuses again, as the crystal on her forehead changes color and assumes a steely blue/lavender zigzag. Korra catches on and morphs his Team Buster back into play. Ami places her palm on the cannon to transfer Shard Flurry into it. Korra is still kneeling. "Ami, I can't fight," Korra whispers. "Don't then. Just aim," she whispers back with a smile. |

| Hmmm.... Ami and Korra are good allies against the powerful Ex, perhaps I should help them a bit Kire focuses inward concentrating divine energy, and then shouts "Greater Bless!" Kire shooves his hand to the ground, and the spell surges through the ground and up into Ami. As long as Ami doesn't resist, she should feel a blaze of magical energy ready to be channeled into an attack, making said attack holy. |

| OFF: To Schwa: Indeed, Dark Weapon has one eye. ____________________________________________________________________ The energy beam doesn't do anything to the Dark Weapon since the retina of it's eye cannot be overloaded. Ex hoped that Ami wouldn't notice that Dark Weapon cannot be blinded and would continue wasting her time on Dark Weapon. After all, since Dark Weapon is totally invincible, Ex is safe as long as her foes ignore her and try to break her weapons unstead. Then, Ex suddenly noticed that Kire used a blessing spell on Ami... Ex: "Well well well... it looks like you decided to double-team me since I'm more than a match for you right now... I strongly encourage to do so! I do not see any interest in defeating you if I don't have to do any effort in the process so... go on!" Ex was still standing there, waiting for some reason... | Ami zips behind Korra. "Power up, Korrachi!" Ami places her palms on Korra's shoulders, transferring the blessing she recieved from Kire into Korra. Korra looks at Ami, smiles, then stares at Kire. "Thanks, friend, but this is a free for all. I'm going to have to attack you anyway." Korra fires into the middle of the arena, and a crystal isohedron flies out and lands on the ground. There is a tense 6 second pause, and the polygon explodes into hundreds of needles flying in every direction! Also, they're blessed with the Holy element thanks to Ami's transfer. Ami tried modifying the energy a little so it wouldn't affect Kire as badly; she's thankful for trying to help them and that was her way of paying it back. Still, the needles are sharp and numerous. Ami cast a telekinetic shield around herself and Korra for a split-second so the needles wouldn't affect them. That's all they do for now. "Wow! I love that attack! Thanks for the blessing, samuri!" Ami shakes her head. How cheap of Korra... |

Kire takes the attack at its full force, only reversed. The Blessing had a side a effect, when channeled it would instead channel some of the energy back into him, if the attack happened to attack Kire.(EDIT amage is minimalKire nods toward Ami "That is part of the fun." Kire sheathes his sword, and prepares for an attack, while assuming his usual stance, holding his sword with his left hand, and holding the sheathe with his right. | OFF: Sorry for the late reply. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex attempted to protect herself from the incoming needles with Dark Weapon... and while Dark Weapon was large enough to deflect most incoming needles, Ex's arms and legs were still struck. Ex felt incredible pain from the attack... Ex: "Man! Why is it always the least damaging attacks that causes the most pain?!?" Ex jumped away from the others and then, Dark Weapon changed form, taking the form of a strange dual-bladed tool... then, Ex used Dark Weapon to remove the needles from her body. Since Ex was busy removing the needles, she did not attack during this turn. |

| Krra smiles. "Who's got the upper hand NOW?" Korra aims upward this time and fires a second Shard Flurry bomb into the air. This bomb is destined to burst before it hits the ground, though, so the needles come from a different angle. The other difference is that this Flurry has no holy blessing attached. Once again, Ami casts a split-second barrier to deflect needles coming their way. |

| Kire unsheathes his sword, and points it towards the sky. "Hidden Holy Ryuu attack!" The needles then stirke Kire, but he doesn't do more then take it, grimincing as they strike. Other then that, Kire just stands their, looking serious and not saying another word. |

| OFF: Sorry about my lack of posts... my internet connection was broken. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex: "Oh no! Not this time!" Ex unleashed her power, executing a Dark Overdrive! Ex: "COUNTER!!!" Ex somehow deflected ALL of the incoming needles with Dark Weapon and then, she jumped just next to Korra and proceeded to slash him with Dark Weapon! She attacked only once... but this attack was going at a speed WAY above the speed of sound (close to speed of light) and the strenght of the attack was twice the damage Ex would have suffered if she would have been struck with all the needles she deflected.
