| I just forgot to mention, this was one of the first boards I lurked at. Yep, when I think on it I found Acmlm ROM hacking domain back in 2000. I saw the old Ezboard based board. I think I actually did register once in 2001 or 2002 but didn't use that account. I have foggy memories of registering on the board... just not posting. :/ Oh mother how funny it was when I tried to find this site again. I typed overclocked.acmmlm.org acmmlmm.overclocked.org and so on since Acmlm was so hard to spell for me...  Then I usually entered the site through overclocked.org, but that started to be kinda... slow. So I added it to the favorites.  And hey, one day I got broadband... | Do you mean before this Acmlm's Board or other Acmlm's Boards? Because before coming here, I was at a few boards, that were Acmlm-style. But before that, I was at FFA, and someone by the call name of Ryu told me about several Acmlm boards, and I went from there. | Hmm. - Challenge Games Community: It was slow, so went from there. - Found TEK Hacks and DES, both also slow at the time. Finally decided to join Acmlm's. - Got permabanned. Yes, I was permabanned here. But redeemed with the post wipe last year. (Many people are still clueless as to who I was, I'll just say ... people do change).- After that, went on to the other 50 Acmlmboards ... - Now, mainly at my own. |

Let's see...I started out at DukeWorld (a Duke Nukem 3D site) sometime back in 1996 or 1997. Went through a bunch of message board system changes over the next couple of years, as well as a few periods of OMFG DRAMA and rebellion against the "nazi mods," before finally moving on to greener pastures with a bunch of fellow members (several of which I'm still good friends with today, and converse with frequently on my own board). Good times, those were. I still long for those days, when I was young and had no responsibilities to worry about, aside from the occasional homework, and those Duke3D levels I never really got around to finishing.  There have been a bunch of assorted boards since then (including a couple of Acmlm's old boards), most of which I've long forgotten about, but my main hangouts right now are my own board, The Sardius Experience (currently down), and, of course, this place. |
