I was thinking of a new project like final fantasy 3, snes. I need some utilities to change around some things. Editing maps. Music would be the same. Character sprite changes. Possible new magic. I want a new magic system, I don't like the way of learning spells needs SP. Not all character needs to be change. Some character can have different colors on there outfit example the shirt and hair color changes. Editing dungions, towns, etc. Maybe different storyline or almost the same but you start at a differnt area on the game. Who wants to help or give me ideas.

Hey chickenlump do you know if they made a ff3 dungeon editor or town editor. If not I am going to quit because I thought there was that kind of editor. Hey thanks anyway.

No, there is no publicly released location editor for FF6. Other than location and event editing tools, almost every other part of FF6 has been hacked or had tools developed for it. Just because tools aren't available doesn't mean you still can't edit the data. Events are fairly straight forward to edit in a hex editor. There is more than enough combined information to create a great hack for this game. Don't let a lack of 'Super Utilities' discourage you from tackling a project, as you will find yourself severely limited as to what you can hack. Don't limit yourself to games that have super editors, there are so many other great games out there that people would like to play hacks or slight modifications of.

I wanted to hack ff2 like the dungeons, but they don't have that kind of editor to change dungeons.
