Yeah, but it's only a temporary fix on your end, and you'll still have to adjust it until the damn thing finally gets fixed. Doesn't affect the ACS or anything.

Yeah, but changing it every once in a while isnt a big deal. Better than having it almost 15 minutes slow and throwing me off every time I look at my computer clock and then the times of posts.
It should get fixed. The easy solution!

Christ I said in the other thread (this is not the first one about the clock) that I would get to it as soon as I could. The cron daemon is actually broken and I need to get around to getting a new one put on.

Why would you set -6 if you live in Sweden? Shouldn't you be setting it to +1?

Becuse the board clock is apparently at +5 GMT and not 0 GMT, and apparently that's why I have to set it at -6. It's 20:17 on my computer (we use "military time here") and 08:17 AM on the board so it is correct.

...now on most other board, I set it on 1+ since the dropdown box about timezone offsets lists diffrent timezones and is based of the GMT. Instead of the timezone we use on the board :/. (was it called EST?)

Oh right right right.... the board is actually -5. I forgot that the board time and the server time are different, the server IS GMT but theres something in the code to make it -5.
