I know this might be almost impossible to do or crazy for even suggesting the idea. But has anybody ever thought up a way to bring in the Classic Mario sound effects to the 16 bit games. One thing that has always urked me was the jump sound and the warp zone sound in Super Mario World. To me they sounded crappy compaired to the original NES versions in SMB 1,2,3. Thanks for reading this post and keep up the good work guys pretty good mods.

Crrently that is impossible. You'll have to wait, because someone is already working on sound editor for SMW. Jst hang tight.

That would require some reprogramming.
I don't know if I could get them to be exactly the same, but definately close.
I haven't had time to explore any programming that involves Sound/Music, so I can't give you the specifics as to the Notes and Instruments that can be used (there could be some other factors to this as well, but I'm not really awake right now, so I can't think about it in detail at the moment), but they will be simillar if not the same.

@ Darkflight: um, that is not clearly impossible,... it's not even hard at all (you really just have to know what you're doing, that's all)
