OOC: Alright, so I'm starting it a few days early. This is what I've been planning for a while, my first real story. Time period really doesn't matter, since it's gonna involve time travel anyway, but to keep things straight, it begins in Alternate SF universe, taking place some time after Evil Reign Remixed, Megaman Forever, and the SB Tournament Story, chronologically speaking, and crossing several universes at once.

If there are any temporal questions, they will be ultimately answered with Time Travel, anyway.

And now, the prologue.

The sky is dark. The wind swirled madly in whirlwinds as a haggard fellow trudged across a barren wasteland. He clasps tightly to his head a battered fedora, and a ripped, torn trenchcoat whips behind him as he walks.

The figure reaches a hill, and begins to climb it. Lightning strikes in the background as he walks up the steep incline, slowly, but methodically. He would not stop, not now. He had to see it, to see if it was all true. To see if it all really happened.

The top of the hill was in sight, and as the figure reached the summit, he gazed upon the ruined city before him. River City.

It was completely annihilated. Buildings were felled, roads torn to shreds, and streetlights littered about the town. Destroyed. Just like every other city. But this one was special.

Detective Grey removed his hand from his head, and his hat blew away in the raging winds. Off in the distance, tiny flashes of light could be seen here and there, flying about over the city. They were still going at it, after almost five hours. There really was no point in continuing anyway, Grey realized that a long time ago. Any time he wanted to, he could end it all. Return everything to normal.

Grey: "Successor, eh? Some successor I am. Just a crock. That's all it is. I won't even be alive to know if what I could do will have any effect..."

Grey reached into his coat and pulled out his trusty, battered gun. He took a single bullet out of his coat, and loaded it into the weapon. His last one, always saved for a very special occasion. No point in keeping it now, either.

"Ah, sour grapes anyway. Not like living in this hellhole will do anyone any good."

He cocked the gun, pulled the hammer back, and pointed the gun at his temple. This was it, the end. All over. Once he died, everything would be fixed. But something stopped him. He wondered seriously, what brought him to this day?

Evan, John, and Jason were dead. Raon was dead. Algus was dead. And Janus? Well, that flash of light was him. Him and Axel, that is. Five solid hours of fighting. Certainly long enough to completely annihilate Grey's home. Would they ever end? Probably not. Not while Grey was still alive. Die, release the power, save the world. Easy enough.

But he couldn't pull the trigger...

-------------------------
FIVE YEARS AGO...

The scene? Whitelight HQ, somewhere outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. Janus stood at the head of a long, round table, addressing a group of assembled warriors...

Janus: "Friends, the time has come. I've called you all here because I have tried to raise an army strong enough to fulfill the goal presented to said army. Those of you in attendance today, as well as anyone willing to join our cause, are the strongest, bravest souls this world and many others have to offer. Congratulations."

He gestures genially outward to the group, and wonders just who is in attendance of the many warriors he and Detective Grey originally scouted out...

Among the warriors many new Janus personally, but only one was sure of wha was going on. Star had appeared to them and dragged them here, but what was really going on, the real confusing part was there was TWO Star's in the same room. Star the Time Champion and Star the Blade Master, they were easy to tell apart and it was obvious which was stronger, but the thing nagging at Star TC's mind was did Star BM remember this?

Origin: "Care to explain what is going on?"

Star TC: "We're here to help Janus, isn't that good enough of a reason?"

Origin: "Will he explain?"

Star TC: "He should..."

Dracoon: "Careful Star, remember, you are the weakest of us right now. You are required to stay in your current form, strong enough to survive, but you're lacking, both you and Origin haven't made a significant improvement in a long time."

Star BM: "Don't worry about it Dracoon, we aren't going to be as powerful as you'd think. Janus is still incredibly close in skill, he'll be leading this for good reasons. We shouldn't interfer with any of his decisions, and only fight if it is absolutely needed."

COMP (Computer in Dracoon's head): "Star is right, the fight isn't ours, Janus is the key character, do not try to argue against a decision he makes."

Dracoon: "Understood."

On another part of the room, a fight was only a second from breaking out, but they knew it wouldn't matter. Odin had his hand on his sword and Fenrir his hand on his gun. They nodded, knowing they shouldn't fight between themselves, Janus had showed skill, he was worth helping.

Odin: "Don't do something stupid."

Fenrir: "It doesn't matter."

OOC: YES!! You started it! Oh Lord, I have been waiting for this day!

My characters are from the future. That's right. Now I remember.

A 53-year old Schwa and 2 37-year-old ex-Oracles sit at the table. Schwa stands and approaches Janus. "I hope the Ring has helped you. Now then... care to tell me exactly what our grand mission is?"

Though old, Schwa is still youthful in behavior and very excited. This mission is his big test to become High Sensae... and when that happens, he'll finally learn the knowledge he has hoped to learn all his life: the truth about UGrey and his dimmension.

Tuxydon, a darkish-tan-skinned man in black, sits at the table. Equipped on him is a Pheonix Ring and a Pheonix Crown. Hidden under his black shirt is a King's Pendant, which was given to him by some native tribe in one of his wilder adventures.

"Schwa, you'd better be right about this being important. You interrupted me at a pretty bad time..."

Schwa turns on Tuxydon. "Whatever you were doing cannot compare to the importance of this event!"

Yiusi speaks next. Yiusi wears a golden-orange dress with a magenta stripe down each side. The suit is about the same type she was wearing 37 years ago, but this one is sleeker-looking and fits her powers better. "Tuxydon... this'll be good for you. Recently you've been wondering what your purpose in life is... This may help you discover it. Seriously."

"Yiusi, you don't even know your own purpose!" Tuxydon agressively states.

"Silence, both of you," Schwa says. "Let Janus speak. He is our leader. He is older than any of us could dream about, and age equals respect."

OFF: Joining the RP!

I'll use Ex Lightheart but she will assume the form of a normal human and won't have her usual god-like abilities.

As such... no time stop, no soul vision, no unbreakable weapons, no uber-spells, no all-defenses piercing weapons...

NOTE: People who can see souls such as some types of psychics may be able to see that within the human body is a much different soul... an overwhelming dark power that's shaped like a female humanoid mouse...

NOTE 2: As you can probably guess, I'm doing this becease that Ex is... well... quite overpowered and I don't want my character becoming the center of attention like usual.

____________________________________________________________________

Outside the building where the meeting was taking place, a figure was watching... mere walls couldn't keep it from seeing what was taking place...

Ex: "The future is painful for those who are bound to Fate... and the worst enemy of Fate is in for a visit... Let's see how Fate's slaves will react..."

Ex walked trought the crowd, not being noticed and walking among them as if she did not exist... which was weird considering how she was a bright yellow female humanoid mouse with long ears and carrying a HUGE sword made of flesh twice her size... but what was weird was that not only was the people not hearing her words but she was walking TROUGHT the people...

Ex wasn't any normal fellow... she was the Enemy of Fate, the one who brings hope to those who are supposed to be doomed... she is the black spot on the eternal glory of the cruel triumph of strenght over reason, she is the flaw in the inhuman world, the light in the great darkness... she is a being from another world, a being who has outlived birth, life, and death and evolved beyond time and space...

Was she an angel, a demon? Or maybe was she the physical incarnation of the Creator or the Destroyer? Why did she wanted so badly to make sure the world would have a continued existance? Why did she would forgive even the most cruel criminal and yet, the next second, eliminate a random soldier who crossed her path without hesitation?

Who? Why? How? Even the Creator himself does not know the anwsers... for she isn't one of His creations and is beyond even His understanding... but everyone can understand her actions, without exeption...

Those who seek a name are often disappointed by the short anwser... short but effective: "Ex". Ex what? Just... "Ex".

Ex smiled as she stared at Janus...

Ex: "Grey Dawn... Why do I have these words stuck in my head? What does "Grey Dawn" means? Maybe this human knows... I guess I'll assume the identity of one of those people and take part in this story. It will be fun, messing with the future... who knows? Maybe I'll cause a cool paradox and cows will rain from the skies or something?"

Ex faded from existance... but not her consciousness. She seeked her next host... among the soldiers Janus had summoned, Ex would choose one. She stared at their souls and saw their pasts... which one of their lives would be her own for the next few days, months, or even maybe years?

Finally, Ex found out what would be her next identity.

She was a young woman, just like her... and she was human. She looked like an excellent soldier and Ex liked her personality, which was similar to hers. Yes... most definitely, this woman was going to be "Ex" for the next days, months, or years varrying on how long it will take for the "Grey Dawn" to happen, whatever it may be.

...

The human woman who was sitting the closest to Janus stared at him...

(woman): "Errm... sorry but I kind of "phased out" and completely missed what you said last... could you please repeat?"

The woman had pale, white skin and almost golden hair. She seemed unnaturally beautiful... Judging from her equipment, she was seemingly from the future but not from a future that was too far from the present. Her equipment seemed to be of the present day... but there were some details that showed that it was truly futuristic equipment...

Among her equipment, there was one piece of equipment that clashed with the others in terms of looks... a small gold pendant with the picture of an eye on it. All those with the ability to sense magical power could sense that immense power slept within this pendant...

It is at this moment a figure falls from an air vent in the ceiling. This figure wears truly futuristic armor... strange as it may be, Janus, Dracoon and Schwa all know this character very well.

Schwa stands.
"MetaKaz?"

The figure removes his sleek helmet. "I will be helping you, Janus."

Schwa is awestruck. "You! Help us! That's amazing!"

"Don't start, Schwa. You were right, I had an obligation. But this is a temporary truce." He glances around. "For 3 days I wondered what to do... I really had no choice. Schwa and I are a lot alike, when you get right down to it... This won't be so bad."

A little history on MetaKaz... This character met Schwa while he was about 17 years old. MetaKaz is a Cosmic Warrior, a type of character that was broken up and destroyed in a war with the Red Sentinels. He is one of the only Cosmic Warriors left who still weilds his powers. He blames the Psi Warriors for the destruction of his people, even though it was their own fault, for this reason: Sensae predicted their fall correctly. Ever since they met, Schwa and MetaKaz have been fierce rivals.

MetaKaz is a WAY better fighter than Schwa, but his battle tactics are very unique; he can only fight well if he's constantly hitting the foe. At the start of a fight, MetaKaz comes with full mana, but it rapidly depletes as he uses his incredible speed, power and discretion. To replenish it, he MUST be hitting the foe constantly. If it runs out, he loses his abilities to use energy-attacks and his agility and attack power drop until he brings his mana reserves to at least 25%.

Schwa has only ever barely managed to defeat MetaKaz in 1-on-1 combat, and the reason is totally unclear to MetaKaz, since they BOTH know who the better fighter is... Over time, this character has had conflicts with Janus and Dracoon as well in his ultimate mission of defeating the great Schwa. MetaKaz wears his futuristic armor at all times in combat, which sort of acts like a bio-suit, reacting to damage almost like a living being (though it doesn't have any organs... ). Being another race, he can live longer than humans, so as of now he's about 39 in human years.

Janus sighed as he spotted Ex's posessed body. Neither he nor Grey knew her, which made her presence extremely obvious. Blue's Sunglasses were also quite good at seeing beyond the normal realm of human vision, though it was not Janus who first encountered Ex, but Grey. As if Janus were human, anyway. He glanced sidelong at her...

Janus: "I'm not stupid, you know. I'm also willing to bet at least half the people in this room saw that. There's no need to disguise yourself to us, just don't go too far in execution of your abilities. Gods have rules, too. I should know, I hated them. You know what they are, you're not supposed to interfere directly with the course of life on the planet you preside over. But you've been a god for a while, so I'm guessing you know that full well. Tag along, if you like. We need all the help we can get. Just don't break any rules."

He then noticed MetaKaz, who had just dropped in from the ceiling. How he had found the abandoned Whitelight HQ, Janus had no idea, but it was certainly a feat to be taken into consideration.

"And as for you, Viewtiful Joe, I don't know what the hell you think you're doing here after what you pulled on me six years ago, but if you really want to help, you've got to get one thing straight:"

Janus strode over to the futuristic fighter and looked him straight in his unhelmeted eyes...

"You lay one hand on Schwa, Tux, Star, anyone, and I kick your ass from here to yesterday. That's your warning, I hope you take it seriously."

It's pretty obvious that Janus doesn't like MetaKaz, but in the worst of times, one must sometimes gain help from evil in order to accomplish good. And MetaKaz wasn't even evil...

"At ease, friend Janus," Schwa warns. "I trust MetaKaz. I've always trusted him."

MetaKaz whips around. "Bullshit, Schwa!"

"Hardly! And I've been telling you that for the longest time. It never mattered, though, because when one speaks the latter must listen and vice-versea. That is how communication works. No questions."

MKaz fumes inside. He hates being talked to this way by his adversary, but control it he must if he wants to be of some help.

MKaz has actually looked up to Janus for quite some time. Janus was a man with a huge burden, but the things he's done to live with it, the things that MKaz wishes he possessed, were amazing to him. MKaz wished to help Janus in this mission because he didn't want him to have to live with this burden any longer.

MKaz's answer to solving problems has always been through fighting. That is his downfall...

Ex stared at Janus...

Ex: "Well, you must be able to see souls or something like that."

Ex smiled.

Ex: "I'm not a goddess actually... I am a type of being which doesn't exist in your world... altought some confuse me for a goddess, others confuse me for a demon. I am an "Ex" being... the strongest type of creature that exist. However... we only exist in a single Possibility and since Possibility travel is actually... we send our memories, powers, and feelings beyond Time and Space. In short, I am truly a human... but I am a human infused with the consciousness of a being called "Ex Lightheart"... altought I am not truly possessed by "Ex Lightheart". It's quite confusing in theory but it's really simple actually..."

Ex stood up.

Ex: "I am a human who was given the memories and powers of a mortal that evolved beyond Time and Space. That's what I am truly. Sorry if the energy signature that my soul is giving is bothering you... but well, it's not my fault if my energy signature doesn't have quite the same shape as my body... and anyway, I bet that many of you aren't exactely human, aren't you?"

Ex looked around...

Ex: "Well well well... I think I may recognise some of the people in this room..."

Ex turned to the two versions of Star.

Ex: "I believe that trought a dimensional anomaly of some sort, we must have met, don't we? Can you remember anything?"

Ex finally realised something! She had forgot to present herself!

Ex: "OOPS! Just realised I didn't told everyone my name! I don't know I used to be before being infused with those memories... but since it seems the memory transfer was successful, you may call me "Ex Lightheart" as I believe to be an almost perfect incarnation of Ex Lightheart."

Star hardly looked up, he remembered everything. He had learned everything he needed to know within 3 seconds of his life, all the things that humans should and shouldn't know, he knew. His knowledge was far from complete and he wanted to keep it that way.

Star (BM): "Yes, I do."

The other Star shrugged, it must be happening sometime soon.

Star {TC): "Care to explain Janus, you haven't told me everything yet and how you plan to do it."

As Ex stared at the two versions of Star, she smiled.

Their anwser had been a bit shorter than espected... well, much shorter to say the truth. Maybe they didn't wanted much to remember that incident?... very probable.

The Chaos Heaven was, after all, probably the most nightmarish of all places. A place where no logic existed exept the logic of pain and despair... a place where no life-forms could exist, only twisted nightmares and feelings of hatred made physical by the awesome power of Evil incarnate, NeoBowser.

A simple trip there was enough to break the mind of most creatures and as such, Ex tought that it wasn't surprising after all that Star hadn't given a long anwser... in fact, she should be surprised that she actually espected a long anwser.

Maybe all those centuries travelling trought Possibilities gave her those twisted perceptions of what is "fun"?

Anyway... all those toughts aren't going to lead her anywhere. Janus is probably going to explain everything and she can't wait for the explanation.

She's hitching to see if Dark Weapon's transfer into this world is successful and if it is... she will most definitely want to slaughter a few thousands villains!

OOC: I feel like getting back into RPing, and this seems like the best story currently starting. ^^

A purple-black vortex flared to life in the center of the group, and what looked like a young boy walked out from it. A scythe sized for his 3 foot 6 inch frame was straped to his back, the weather-worn handle not matching the ornate rune-covered blade. His brown hair was tied back in a topknot, and his black and red robes fluttered around himself as he looked around the room, hood swaying from side to side.

OOC:First RP

A bi-plane not to far off outside was passing by, and a figure inside looked relaxed as possible. The figure was of a spiney creature, with the look of two tails fluttering behind in the wind. Suddenly, the creatures Scanner Radio began to stir, picking up what sounded like chatter and talk of warriors.

???:"Hmm...Sounds interesting. Maybe we should check it out!"

????:"But, what if it's another trap! We still have to find that hidden fortress!

???:"We're obviously lost so why not take a detour!"

The plane soon swerved to the right and stopped when the signal got stronger. The figure was clueless where it was coming from.

????:"No! We are going this way! We need to find the fortress!"

The plane swerved to the left with ferocious speed.

???:"Damnit all! Your gonna kill us!! Dont make me override you again!"

????:"Grrr..I still don't get how you do that! If you know then I should know too!"

The plane now swerved back to the right, and without notice went 90 degrees upward straight at a building.

????:"Oh..."

???:"Shit..."

The plane ripped through the building, coming out the other side leaving scattered debree everywhere. The plane slowly made it's decent downward for one wing was torn completely off and the other bent downward.

????:"Where going to..."

???:"CRASH I KNOW!"

The plane soon came close to the ground as it stopped in mid-air.

???:"What in the hells!?"

The figure opened his eyes and noticed they were stuck in a tree above a sidewalk.

????:"..."

???:"..."

Suddenly the air bag popped out and hit the figure in the face.
-----------------
Later, after finding where the signal was coming from, they saw a huge building, with the words Whitelight HQ strewn on it. The building was secluded outside of a large bright light city.

???:"I guess this is it..."

????:"Lets see...The doors guarded...so we're gonna have to find another way in."

After keeping distance and scouting around, the figure found a vent cover laying on the ground. It looked up to find a open hole in the side of the building with a rope hanging off it.

???:"Aww...it looks like we've been beat to the party. Well, let's go then!"

????: (in head)"Not a good idea...Not a good idea..Not.."

???:"Will you shut up already!"

They climbed in and went through what seemed to not be so complicated a vent system and found another opening soon. They peered down and listened in on the conversation. Before hearing two words, the figure talked.

????:"S.s.s.so...so..s!"

???:"Shut up! They'll hear us!"

????:"So..so..so!"

???:"What! Oh...SHIIIIIIIIT!!!"

The vent collapsed beneath them and left the figure falling down ontop of someone...

????:"Oof.."

As the figure got up, everyone stared in awe at the second coming of someone from the vent, and noticed a what seemed to be a blue hedgehog with a fox face, red pants jacket...and two fox tails!

???:"Heh heh. Hi. I'm...Sonic,"

????:"And Tails,"

Sonicandtails(Sonic):"I guess you guys need help with something?"

OOC: Any confusingness can be cleared up by reading my profile in the profile thread.

OFF:

To Sonicandtails: Semi-original character! He's quite original but the fact that he's created from two existing characters stops me from calling it totally original.

Anyway... I have one major pet peeve against your character... it's name. "Sonicandtails"... it's not possible to think of a more lame name in my opinion. Even something cliched like "Fusion" would have been better.

____________________________________________________________________

Ex: "Hmmm... this is weird but... this looks like a Fusion creature! Indeed, I can see it... the reason for this creature to be so strange is that two bodies and souls have been merged into a single one.... well, apparently. I cannot see clearly into their souls but that's what I can see for now."

Ex approached the strange half-hedgehog, half-fox thingy...

Ex: "You look like a mix of the hero of Dimension 9, Sonic, and his side-kick, Miles Prower. Are a clone or something?... or did the two merge into a single creature in this Possibility?"

Ex smiled.

She hoped nobody would notice that the human's eyes had turned white when she had received the memories and powers... for Ex was, in truth, "blind". She was blind in the way that her eyes didn't need to work... unstead, she was able to "see" with her very soul, thus allowing her to see beyond appearances. Varrying on how powerful the soul she is looking at what and how much of her power is unlocked, she would see more of the "target" soul...

For now, since she was quite weak, she would only see the feelings of people... but as she would grow stronger, she would be able to see progressively their memories and even, eventually, their toughts. But for now... only the feelings of non-protected mortal souls.

OOC: *Slams head against wall* Where's Kirb when you need him? OK, split personality, Ex being, not one, but two versions of my main character's rival, and a guy I've never even heard of saying he's fought me in the past. I can deal.

Janus was taken aback by the sudden influx of warriors who had appeared. Star and Schwa had apparently recruited more people than he thought... In any case, the more the merrier. He was still waiting on some attendants, himself. Still, Star needed to know more of what was going to happen, especially since he and Janus would be doing most of the engineering here. Janus took him aside and continued to explain a few things to him while the rest of the group got to know each other...

Janus: "Star, seeing as how you can travel through time too, I'm going to need your help here. I'll assume you remember what I told you about the Radiant Order, right? How there's five of them and they're terrors to the human imagination? We need to destroy them or convince them to stop their ways. You know all of this already, though."

He didn't wait for a response.

"Well, I was wrong. Minus me, there's four. And one of them went the same way as me, making three. Trouble is, I can't seem to find her, which sucks, because she'd be a hell of an ally."

He paced back and forth in the private room he was conversing with Star in, and worried a bit more...

"Are you sure these guys are good enough? I heard the rest of your alliance talking about how you haven't made a serious boost in power for a long time, and since I'm gonna guess you were somehow connected with recruiting these guys, I'm worried. Remember, I told you that nobody can die. NOBODY. Everyone has to be returned to their proper times. Since nobody can die, they have to know what they're up against before they join in."

He then pulled a screen down from a nearby wall in the room, which was furnished with a desk and chair, as well as basic fluorescent lighting. On the screen was a display of three strange looking people, two male, one female. Janus pointed to the male on the far left, a short, stout fellow dressed in black with chains and shackles all over his body. At his side he carried a paintbrush and across his back was a collapsable easel.

"This is Algus, the first of the three remaining members of RO. He's our target this time. He is the presiding deity of art, and is a master of visual manipulation. I've managed to locate him after about six months of searching. If he managed to show up, Odin should know the most about this area, he's in northern Europe, somewhere around Finland. Grey found the general area, we just need to search for his hideout.

You might ask why I insisted on raising an army, I suppose. The thing is, there are obviously subsidiaries to each patron that need to be dealt with. There are hundreds of different kinds of art. Concept art, mosaic, sculpture, you name it, it exists, and Algus presides over it, with one of his subsidiaries managing it. Thus, to deal with these people and their powers, we need counterpowers of our own. Hence the army."

Janus pointed to the middle person, the female. She was a tall, thin woman, blonde-locked, with loose, baggy pants and shirt. Her stare was fierce, and the very picture of her would strike fear into the hearts of men and women, despite how non-threatening she seemed at first glance. She had a camera bag at her side, and a video recorder in her hand.

"This is Raon, the second member. She presides over film and television. As such, she too is good with visuals, but we're not dealing with her this time, so I don't think I need to brief her. I knew her personally, as did I Algus; She's much cleverer than him, though he's far more intuitive. But we aren't ready to take her on yet, she's far too strong even for an army. We need something more, and Grey is still researching the film industry as it is."

Finally, Janus pointed to the man on the right. He was tall, garbed with buckles all over his body and slicked back brown hair. What was creepiest about him, however, was that at his side he carried a duffel bag, much like Janus's....

"This is Axel."

Janus spat out the words. He stared at the picture with an intense scowl on his face. The very thought of Axel made Janus want to lay waste to the world around him. But control was key. He'd get his soon enough.

"I'll talk about him later..."

Janus then turned to Star, and walked a few steps closer to him.

"But before we do all of this, there's one problem we have to cover, and it involves you and I expressly. We need to save the lives of Evan Williams, John Blase, and Jason Miller, better known to you as Agents Red, Blue, and Green. I've devised a plan to save them and still keep the timeline intact, without my realizing that they are alive, and to bring them here without paradox, but to do this I need your help, as well as the help of one other person.

When they died, I was unconscious. As far as I know, they were blown to smithereens by Axel and Raon. When I awoke, I didn't find any trace of them anywhere, which leads me to believe that they were entirely eradicated and destroyed. In other words, so long as I don't find any trace of their bodies back then, the timeline will remain intact. The catch is, we would have to save them while they were being destroyed, so that no trace could be found and they would be pulled away at the right time.

It's a bit like Chrono Trigger, actually. I've had wax duplicates of them made to perfect detail. We need three people because we need three bodies to be carried, and that's too much for just you and I. The plan is to carry the figures to the moment where Red, Green and Blue are about to die, then replace them at the last second with the duplicates by stopping time and taking their bodies back with us to this time. It's risky, and I'm not sure if it'll even work, but it's a plan that's definitely worth trying. Are you in?"

Ex turned to Janus.

Ex: "Saving three people like in Chrono Trigger, right?... and without causing a paradox? OK... got it. We're also going to fight a deity? I think I can help you..."

Ex closed her eyes and began to concentrate and then...

FLASH!

Some kind of pendant appeared in Ex's right hand. She opened her eyes and looked at it, pleased by the result...

Ex: "Just as I tought. Dark Weapon's transfer was a success. I'm definitely going to be an important part of your plan since Dark Weapon was transferred successfully. You see... Dark Weapon can stop time and ignore defenses, striking the soul thus damaging even immortal foes... as such, it will be useful in both saving the three Agents and destroying our first target, Algus."

The pendant began to glow and then, it transformed into a sword!

Ex: "I will make my soul resonate with all of the others and then, I will stop time at the moment the enemies will try to destroy the Agents giving you enough time to replace the originals with the dummies you created. Then, we'll all escape and I'll unfreeze time just when we finished escaping so no paradox is created."

Ex paused.

Ex: "As for Algus... well, Dark Weapon was created to defeat such targets. Unless Algus has special "Links" protecting his soul, I'll definitely be able to cut him into pieces."

Dark Weapon was returned to the form of a pendant. Ex placed the pendant close to her heart...

Ex: "I've been into many dangerous situations before and as such, I am not afraid and will stay with you until the end of this mission. I won't ask for anything in return for my services either. The mission itself shall be my reward..."

Ex smiled again.

Ex: "I have only a single question now... If I am the one who perform the finishing hit on the target, Algus... then may I feed his soul to Dark Weapon or must his soul survive for the sake of the timeline?"

SaT(Sonic):"Well, might as well find out whats going on."

Tails took the initiative to speak for once, and asked softly.

SaT(Tails):" Exactly what are we doing here anyways?"

Noone even flinched at his question...

SaT(Tails):" Grr..Can anyone inform me on what the hell we are doing here!?"

SaT shouted loud and clear. A few people turned, and he awaited one to approach and explain to him.

Star (BM): "Won't work Ex."

Dracoon turned to stare at Star (BM) as he clearly interfered with something big.

Dracoon: "I thought we weren't going to interfer, I could've told her it wouldn't work."

Star (BM): "I just don't feel like people going in to get surprised. My other self already knows this though. He'll explain to Janus in a second if you listen."

Star (TC) heard the other Star, but shrugged it off, apparently he had been through this all before.

Star (TC): "Well, he's right. Anytime the time line is interfered with by someone other than myself, I feel it. If Ex freezes time it'll alert me and I'll follow back here. If I find myself, I'm not sure what will happen and I don't want to find out. If you want to do this right though, it'll be easy. I just need the exact date and time and I can send us there in a flash."

Star began to open a rift in the time stream. He would hold it there till they came back, but he'd have to do this in a different way if they wanted to do this right.

Star (TC): "Before we do this though, I have to warn you. We can't have our bodies in the physical plane while doing this. Stopping time while that is going on may be to hard. If we stay in the time stream while doing this, it'll work out a lot easier... Oh yeah, don't underestimate me. I watched your battle with Odin, that hardly pushed you over me."

Star (BM): "Don't act like your so strong. You know if you had another fight you'd lose."

Star (TC) looked at his other self. He must have gotten a lot stronger than it seemed, because he had an air of complete superiority.

Odin: "You know whats going on?"

Fenrir: "Yes, if you had better ears you would know to."

Odin was ready for a fight, but with Fenrir sitting there, he was about to explode over him instead.

The young-looking boy just stood around, looking confused as many things he didn't understand were said. I take it I'm not home any more.

Ex: "OK... so it seems like Time and Space are a bit... delicate in this Possibility. Well... at least Dark Weapon can still be used to defeat the enemy... right? Dark Weapon?"

Ex stared at the pendant.

Ex: "HEY! Wake up!"

The pendant opened itself and transformed into some kind of sword.

Ex: "Good! So... how are you feeling? The transfer was a success, right?"

Dark Weapon *thinks* Errr... no.

Ex: "What do you mean, no?"

Dark Weapon *thinks* Well... the fabric of Time and Space in this Possibility is very delicate and unstable and as such... none of my powers works in it. In short... not even my resistance works. I'm just a stupid iron sword. Talking about embarrassing... of course, I can always be revived easily but still... I'm just a stupid normal sword! How humliating... if Calibur would see me in this state... she would flip!

Ex: "Just great... Dark Weapon has no powers in this Possibility... Well, do my Blaster handgun works in this world?"

Dark Weapon *thinks* Yes it does.

Ex: "Well... at least THAT works."

The sword returned to the form of a pendant.

Ex: "Well... you know, guys? It looks like Dark Weapon's transfer wasn't as successful as I first tought..."

Star (TC): "Yeah, thats the basis of it. Ever since I broke the time barrier."

Star (BM) kind of looked at his other self, wondering what he was getting at. Time had barely changed, it had only been... delecate because of the constant interference. Janus was just as much to blame as Star.

COMP: "Ex Lightheart is basically human."

Dracoon: "Thank you, keep me informed."
