Well, your bandwidth limit exceeded. But since I have access to their press room...

Nowdays, most GBA games does get released in both US and Europa. And if it dosen't... well, GBA is region free after all.

I only have one version of that sitting on my comp as it is and I still haven't beat it. Not that I don't mind the game at all, it's great, it's just I haven't been able to beat it yet. I think I was in or around Chapter 16 last I checked.

But it's nice this is getting translated finally. I don't know of any other English ones other than the one I have and I know of three total on the GBA.

I've already mirrored them all now, so they should be working. Huzzah for whatever server that is.

Ranko, indeed, Fire Emblem 6 was not translated, and Fire Emblem 8 (this one) is being translated, but Fire Emblem 7 has been and that sounds like the one you've downloaded (buy it, you cheapskates, otherwise Nintendo won't translate the rest if they don't sell.. >.>).

They're remarkably tricky games. Harder than Advance Wars (from what I've played). But wonderful fun.

I must say that centaur looks awesome. Check out that axe. Jeez.

Well, it's a Pentium II in my bedroom. Quite old but it works with pictures and HTML nicely... (althought MYSQL is slow )

Althought tell me when it's down, rarely I change IP and... ugh. That hopefully not happens too soon. >.<

Should buy the other Fire emblem game, I think I saw it in shop for a few weeks ago so...

All the "pirates" you're speaking of didn't stop two new games from coming here.

I'd buy if Canadian prices weren't super-high. Or if I had money.

When is the release date ?

I probably missed it, but I'm jumping on the game as soon as it comes, I've known about it since before the Japanese release, hell I've tried to play the Fire Emblem games since emulating SNES games was new.

According to the press page, the release date is the 23rd of May.

I too can't wait. If it isn't released in Europe I'll import it if need be.

As we can see, our new heros are called Ephraim and Eirika.

I still wish they would translate Roy's game, but oh well...

Myrrh appears to be a character utilising a 'Dragonstone' to transform into a dragon, an ability unique to a certain character class in some Fire Emblem games. This may however be a summon in this game used by a Summoner (called Myrrh, obviously) equiped with this Dragonstone. Who knows.

But this looks like classic Fire Emblem goodness.

May 23. That's a little early but likely means that the translation's pretty much complete and they're just testing it out.

You'll probably get it in Europe sooner or later. If there's a long delay, download it and then purchase it when it finally comes.

Well, I'm going to buy Advance Wars to tide me over until whenever it gets released.. ^-^ And yeah, it looks like the translation is well underway. They have the basis of the previous game to work with, thankfully, so menus and all that are simple. Hopefully that'll make the European translations go faster too.

Hopefully, although Nintendo always has to put out a few European versions... sometimes you have a plain English version and then you have various combos... (French/Spanish, Italian/German, etc.)

Of course, with the Pokemon games Nintendo just makes a different cart for each language. They'll ONLY do that for a top seller, though.

Fire Emblem! Yay!

Reminds me that I need to get around to playing the ones that weren't released in the US. Are any of them translated properly?

Well, most of the time they release a version for whole Europa.

Each time I start Advance wars I can select between severeal languages, it's beyond me why it dosen't save which language I choosen. As I can only read English out of thoose languages.

Yeah, I forgot the "cram as many languages as possible into one cart" variation as well. It can be done three ways then, put it that way.

I personally find what I've played of Advance Wars slightly more forgiving. In Fire Emblem, if you make a mistake you can screw up and lose units and never get them back. In Advance Wars at least you can usually build some more.

I was also refering to the old Snes Fire Emblem games; damn those are tricky.

EDIT: Oh, and Squashy, I don't think any of the games are completely translated, but FE4 had a fairly progressed translation, if I remember correctly. I would check, but I can't access The Whirlpool for some reason. Go have a lookie...
