I just purchased a Platinum GameCube recently and my mom said she'd get me a new game or 2. 1 major problem, I have no idea of any games for it. I have Mario Party 6, Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Echos. Don't ask me what kinds of games I like, just name some games for it and I'll look them up.Thank you!

There is no excuse for not having SSBM, the game isn't that bad in Single player whatever people says.

But it's my favorite multiplayer game, ever. Having two sisters can be just so useful.

You might consider Starfox Adventures Zelda: The wind waker. Or Animal crossing... a game that you either hate or love. But I heard that's it's a popular game for people that aren't playing much games.

Thanks, a few I was thinking of were Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros Melee, and Pokemon Colosseum. Do any of you have any idea about Double Dash and Colosseum? I'm trying to decide, I already know how much fun Smash Bros Melee is.

Collosseum is a great, great game, and is even better when you have the GBA pokemon games, since you can reak in the rewards of using your purifyed pokemon in the Advanced games Its a bit different than the traditional Pokemon game...but its very addictive and if you like Pokemon at all, I'd reocmend it.

The Pokemon game wasn't bad but it's... unique. You'd probably want to rent it first.

I'd go with Double Dash over it, you'll have some good fun completing everything.

If you like RPGs, you should try Baten Kaitos.

It's battle system may seems a bit awkward at first... but it's really a good game once you get into it.

I think that you should try Paper Mario 2 at least once too. I personally think that it's one of the best RPGs I played even if it isn't the longest.

If you're into retro games (read: 8-bit & 16-bit eras), Megaman Anniversay Collection and Sonic Mega Collection are good choices.

... hmm... anything else someone didn't mentionned yet?...

...hmmm... haHA! Got it!

Mario Power Tennis! If you played Mario Tennis for the N64 and enjoyed it, then you should definitely try it. However, you should rent it first... the tweaks they made to the original engine are like, HUGE and as such, it's a love/hate affair...

I wouldn't pay for PSO solely for offline unless it was a good price ($20, maybe $30). And if you DO want to play it online, then there's the broadband adaptor and that doesn't run cheap.

Also, if you have any used game stores, you might be able to find the Zelda Collector's Edition. I've seen it in stores around here, but since I got it with my Gamecube... yeah.

SSBM, you need. I'd recommend Tony Hawk's Underground or Tony Hawk's Underground 2... I liked the story mode and board editor in the first one more, but hte second one has more levels. Honestly, though, if you have an Xbox, those two games are better on that system.

Mario Kart: Double Dash is good, but in my opinion it's not as good as its predecessors. It does feel faster, though, which is a nice improvement over the older games, and it has some nice new tracks.

I'm just one more pro-SSBM user. I also recomend Double Dash and Tales of Symphonia.

As far as other games go, take a look at Eternal Darkness and Viewtiful Joe, those are both really fun games that are really challenging. Eternal Darkness will scare you.

And make sure you look into the new Zelda that is coming out. We really don't have a set date, but people are putting that one on hold that crazy. Heck, I might get a GC just for that.

Double Dash is pretty good, but I recommend getting a DS and then waiting for Nintendogs to come out. Cuddly puppies! In abundance!

Actually, in all seriousness, if you like racing games in any way, shape, or form, you NEED F-Zero GX. Tons of stuff to unlock, and you'll have fun doing it too.
