I like the dark purple color. Not that blinding to the eyes that other schemes are.

What about those hideous "High Contrast" color schemes? I know they probably serve a purpose for people who.. for people.. what purpose did they serve again?

The high contrast stuff probably did more damage than good.
I would have rather just made it bigger instead of so hideously satanic-rainbow-like.

Ah yes, Hot Dog Stand. Otherwise known as what happens when Microsoft programmers are on crack.

Any idea WHY that scheme was put in? I know that the high contrast ones had a purpose (and shouldn't have been used by everyday users) but Hot Dog Stand? Inside joke?

I use VMware.

Thought it's possible to run Windows 3.1(1) on a diskette. I have a diskette with a modified version of DOS and Windows that uncompresses themself on a RAM disk. Quite nifty and can be useful... althought it won't find the HD becuse of obvious reasons if you have NTFS.

Well, I ran it in QEMU with a legimate MS-DOS 6.22 Screenshot?

I ditched VMware in favour of QEMU... because with KQEMU, it runs just as fast as VMware (since it's not actually emulating, but using the raw hardware).

Kitten Yiffer's Mini-Windows boot disk is probably the one on the bottom of this linked page

The High Contrast themes have been in Windows since 95 and NT4. So look at them yourself

Yeah, it is that one.

I only tried VMware of the virtual machines, and some other for running old Mac OS. I just have Windows98, MS-DOS with Windows 3.1, Linux and EVA.
