My friend messaged me the other day asking about a movie he used to always catch the end of on TV when he was younger. He didn't know the name of it and hadn't seen an awful lot of the movie itself, but he was really interested in finding out whatever he could.

As it turned out, I too had caught the end of this exact same show sometime, and had also failed to remember the name. I'm hoping someone on the board can shine a little light on this. Here's what I know.

The movie was a cartoon, most likely made in the 70s or 80s. I guess this because at first thought, I'd remember it looking much like Heavy Metal. In fact, never having seen Heavy Metal the whole way through, I initially thought they were the same movie. But my friend assures me that's not the case.

As for the scene in question, it involves the main characters (who, to my memory, were some sort of anthropomorphic dog-ish people) standing in the chamber of the big baddie. The main characters are a boy and a girl, both semi-scantly clad in this scene, and looking kinda shocked at what's going on around them. We believe that they'd just gone through a lot of trouble to find out that killing the big baddie was simply a matter of singing to him. I don't remember any specifics about the bad guy.

And that's pretty much it. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Rock-A-Doodle-Doo?!! I sounds very likely that it might not be, but i damn well hope so. At least, that just reminded me of that movie, it fucking pwned when i was younger. So because i love it so much, here's the summary to the best of my knowledge:

The movie starts out in real life, a big flood or something for this kid on his farm, and he's reading a book about a rooster or some such. Basically this big evil cartoon owl comes out and turns him into a cat or something, which starts off the adventure. Then a bunch of shit happens possibly with music, possibly not. I remember a stupid owl who can't read very well misreading the word "aquaduct" and a big fat owl playing a badass organ with smoke and shit. Then the rooster sings and brings up the sun to kick the owls respective asses.

and that's the best stoner movie review i can give. two bongs up.

Haha, nope. It wasn't the one. Although I do remember the McDonald's toys they had out for that.

It was something much less... Disney-ish.

Was it Fritz the Cat by any chance? The semi clad chaarcters sound like something Ralph Bakshi would come up with
