I've smashed a few things with controllers before. I try not to destroy games tho. They can be sold or sacrificed for electronic projects. Though once when I got really, really pissed at my Gameshark, I took an old Interact SNES controller (that had already died) and smashed the hell out of it with a hammer. Fun!
And then there was the time I accidentally stuck Super Mario Kart into it. Dead.

I have only scratched one disk in my whole life, Civ II. Which is still one of my favorites.

Luckily it's was only the music part of the CD, so I can still install it and such. And I usually play it without CD (and the music)...

My PS2 got messed up one day and i broke it with a slegehammer. (Warranty was expired or something, i forgot. No places that fix systems either.)

GBC - Punched it, breaking the screen. Game playing at time: Pokemon Pinball.
Mario Kart 64 - Couldn't beat Bowser's Castle on 150cc race and broke the circuirt chip apart.
Megaman 1: GB - See first post.
X-BOX Controller - Held cord, and smashed it against the arm of the chair while playing GTA: VC. Damn Cuban missions...

Yea, that doesn't help a game that has your hero's bullets take 2 seconds to make it across the screen when enemies bullets take 1/2 a second to hit you... no matter what.

Okay...which Mega Man game was this again? The original one? 2,3,4,5? There's walkthroughs and ways to beat them if nothing else.

And I remember when I was ten and I had MM4GB that it took me a while to figure out how to start taking down some of the bosses...but the minute you figure one out...the minute you figure out another one...then their weak point...then half the game...then the other half...and then you beat it...it's about that simple.

And then after that point it's pretty smooth sailing to beating the other MM games.
