| What do you think Acmlm's Board will look like fifteen years from now, in the year 2020? Will a lot of us still be posting, or will it be a completely new set of members making most of the posts, with the current active users posting maybe once every few weeks, or not at all? Will the board interface still look similar, or will it be totally different? Will the board be here at all, or will it have become inactive? And will it still be this incarnation of the board, or will we have restarted a few more times? How big will the post counts get? Will we have six-digit post counts, and five-digit user ID's? Feel free to post your opinions on the matter. |

Hell, sometimes I think that the community could as well die next year. Not like I want that to happen, but there is a possiblity. And if the community even died, groups of people would create their own communities. There is group of people on this board such as Rom hackers, Furry fans, Anime fans, Computer sawy, Gaming crazy people, Nintendo fans, roleplayers... I could see thoose spreading into other communities if this board was closed down. Althought this is one of the biggest ROM hacking boards.  And just think on it, in 15 years I probably even have own children... and that's kinda scary when I think on it.  I doubt the board would be worse thought, just diffrent... and there is probably more users around at the same time. I noticed that there is alot more users online on the new Acmlm board in 2005 than it used to have back in 2003. Althought we used to spree more back then. |

| in 2020, if this board is still around, I'd probably still be posting here. I can't really see myself changing my lifestyle down the road since I'm fairly certain I'll be living a single life the rest of my life. As for other logistics of the board, we'll probably have another DB crash along the way. The board will probably move at least twice more, we'll get 10,000+ people signing up but only 1,000 or less be active... |

| It's weird thinking about how the Internet will look in the future...I always wonder if message boards will always be populated mostly by people in their teens and twenties, or if people will be living into their 60's and 70's still posting on boards. I have an incurable addiction to this place, and I have no life outside the Internet, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if I was still here in 2020... |
