Here's a little hack I've been working on for a while. I redrew most the graphics in Mario Land to make it a little more pleasing to the eye. I thought this was a fun game but It was really lacking in the graphics so I fixed that. You will also notice that the enemies in the game have been rearranged. I used Mario Land version 1.1 for this hack so you will probably need that rom. Here's some pictures of the game in action. First Black and white. THis version is bug free. And now the Color Version. There is a couple bugs in this game. There are no more tumbling rocks so it makes the levels with spikes impossible to get past normally. I have included a cheat file with invincibility code. Use that code to get past those parts in world 3. Another glitch appears near the end of the game. You will not be able to get past the final boss. All these glitches came about due to the modifications GBColorizer made to the game. I would reccomend playing the game at least once because its just too damn cool to see what this game woulda looked like in color. Killer hack , but Im curious...You say you rearanged to enimies? It haven't noticed yet that you moved any, but if you did, how did you do it? Did you figure out the Hex for all the enimies??? | |||

Irritating "can't post twice in a row" rule.... Speaking of making a simple hack, this looks just like it, at least as far as enemy placement is concerned. Wish I'd have gotten a heads up that my little hack would be incorporated here. Not that I really mind--I don't think too many people even know about that hack I made, and this could give it, and me, a little bit more publicity with your hack here, and certainly, it's nicer than my hack, thanks to the improved graphics. Just a little credit for me would be nice, thank you . |

Ya, I lost track of who made that hack. Of course you get credit for that portion of the hack. The last version of this hack I announced I did mention I hadn't done the enemy placement. I mentioned it in the forum anyhow. I don't know how to hack text yet so I didn't even credit myself in game. |
