Yea, it's so odd that people in a ROM Hacking type community who use the Internet would like computers.

I work with computers, on a help desk at my real job, and I moonlight as a webdesigner and tech for hire.

I haven't the faintest idea how to rom-hack, but the internet is fun

Anything to do with coding, preferably something online. I'm doing a software engineering course, and my natural tallent is creating online content so a job maintaining a busy website would be right up my street.

However, eventually I'd love to retire from the rat race and set up my own indie game store... Sell lots of import games, soundtracks, Saturn, Neo Geo stuff like that

Electrical engineering, whatever that happens to entail. Meh, I really don't care. That's probably bad, but oh well.

Right now I own an advertising business and a small same day delivery business. I plan to keep doing this for as long as I keep getting business. Maybe one day I will raise the capital to start my own herbal tea cafe or something...

what do i want to do when i grow up? Well, not that i ever plan on growing up but... i've been asking myself that very question my entire life. I still don't have an answer.

No matter what other topics i seem to get interested in, I always tend to come back to a computer related career, which is somewhat odd as sometimes i find the prospect of a computer programming job scary. It just seems so stifling and "blah". Besides the fact that there are just so many damned amazing programmers out there who's talents know no bounds, i sincerely doubt i would make much headway in the field.

But it's really all i know, so i guess i'll just fumble around until i find a nook or cranny industry to rest in for a while and make a few bucks

I don't really have a clear idea, but I guess it would be something within the field of meteorology. Maybe.

Oh, and Garfield (I'll just call you that), you don't need to put your layout in each of your posts.

Hmm... dunno...

something with computers, definitively... either I'll become a system programmer, or I'll do something with computer graphics (like, 3D animation stuff or whatever). Sadly, SMW hackers aren't being paid for.

Ahhhh, not microsoft, anywhere but that. JK

I'm studying to be a computer science + electrical engineer. I guess that means I'll do a lot of programming and working on computers, which is good considering that I really like computers. I've also heard that power management is a big thing that we need in the U.S. (who'd a thunk it, what with our lack of any problems in the electricity distribution sector, lool) so I'll probably look into that a little bit too, like creating better monitoring systems and safeguard checks for the whole system of distribution. That's something my dad wants me to do and I guess I'll do that a little bit if I can't get into a programming/network job right away.

I'd like to do some cg animation but I don't really have much time so I try to find books to work on it on the side, but that's about all I've done with it so far. I gotta find a Houdini book cause they have a really nice free software package that you can get some pretty decent stuff out of (of course it's all water marked, which isn't really an issue unless you're publishing the work).

I'm still young and only in 9th grade, I'd like to be a video game designer. I've played video games forever and my imagination is crazy. I get some great ideas for more monster like creatures, my best friend Erick also wants to be one, hopefully we could work together.

Anything that makes me nerdy.

The problem is, I want to be everything at once. Artist, programmer, hardcore gamer, forum poster... it's hard.

Seems like it's going to be programming, I always wanted to program for portables. I had this good idea that would be so nice for a portable.
