No, we get Mars too. (Mars distributes, well, Mars (duh) and Snickers, Milky Way, Twix and I think also Bounty, which indeed tastes good, Trapster.)

Japp contains chocolate meringue and caramel in a chocolate coat. According to Wikipedia, "the Mars Bar consists of a slab of nougat-like chocolate mousse topped with caramel and coated in chocolate". So it seems like mostly the same thing.

Oh, and while researching this I found an article about scottish fish-and-chips shops selling deep-fried Mars bars.

Ah, I see. I just found it interesting how the Japp and Mars bars had similar packaging.

Bounty... Ew. No thank you. Give me Junior Mints.

Toblerone rocks, but it's more "luxurious"... you don't see people getting a Toblerone instead of a Snickers.

Well, I was unsure before I tasted it but I relized that it was good. Different tastes.

What kind of chocolate is it in Toblerone? I may have tasted it.

Swiss milk chocolate, almond nougat and honey. You *must* have tasted Toblerone. They're the yellow triangular things in small pieces.

Toblerone has a pretty good presence in Canada. We have the regular/white/dark chocolate varieties, and Swiss Chalet (chicken place) usually runs a promotion at Christmas time where they give you a free Toblerone with your order.

Not a nut fan though.

I love toblerone. Althought it's just something you buy on ferries around where I live. Yeah, that's odd...

Not like I complain, i'm not far from Denmark and it just takes less than a hour to get to denmark.

Jesus, if you like chocolate, come to the UK (And stop off in Belgium on the way home )

My favorites are:

Mars
Milky Way
Milky Bar
Twix
Penguin
Rocky Caramel
Cadbury's Caramel
Cadbury's Dairy Milk
Malteasers
Cadbury's Cream Egg (Jesus, I swear people would quit crack for these )
Kinder Egg (even though it's ludicrously expensive for the chocolate you get)
Galaxy
Galaxy Caramel
Galaxy Ripple
Flake
Twirl
Crunchie
M&Ms
Minstrels

Oh, and that reminds me... Easter is around the corner... Anyone who lives in a country that does not have Easter Eggs is a poor deprived soul

Nuts? I despise nuts of all kinds

Penguins are pretty good chocolate bars. I've only eaten the small versions and I assume that's all there is in Britain... right?

Cream Egg is a constant here in Canada, every store carries them. Same with the oh-so-scrumptious Mini Eggs by Cadbury.

Too bad we don't have Marks & Spencer in Canada anymore.

Cream Eggs are awesome. I've never tried Marks and Spencer; do you have an example of what it could taste like?

Marks & Spencer is *NOT* a chocolate bar. They're a British chain of stores that used to have a rather large Canadian division - I know there were a few stores around the Montreal area and in Toronto/London/Ottawa as well.

Even though they had a lot of fashions and such, they also had a food section with British imports.
