Anyways, what weapons do you have that you'd use? -12-shot tactical -PK-27 -Shovel -Metal Bat -Glock (2) Although I have some sharp swords I find them obsolete against gun-toting housebreakers. (Yes! I would use my Tetsaiga and *PAK! PAK! PAK! PAK!* die a headless virgin) I've run into situations where the druggies visiting the apartments would try something stupid like break a window and it was necessary enough to aim my gun at the windows. |

See, I have this view where guns aren't the subject of legislation, but doing bad things with them is. Baseball bats aren't illegal; kitchen knives aren't illegal; bottles, and breaking said bottles, aren't illegal... yet you can do considerable harm to others with those things, and that is what is illegal (as well it should be). So I believe it should be with guns; and, for the most part, that's how it is with guns here in the United States. Also note that it is legal to use harmful or even deadly force in self-defense. If someone's trying to kill you, and in the course of defending yourself you have to harm or kill him/her, then for the most part you're in the clear (the situation will be investigated by police, of course, as well it should be). Here, if you attack someone with a baseball bat in self-defense, you're in the clear; if you attack someone with a kitchen knife in self-defense, you're in the clear; and if you shoot someone with a gun in self-defense, you're in the clear. The only differences are the tools used to do it. As the NRA says: guns don't kill people, people kill people. And I say, guns aren't bad, it's doing bad things (e.g. murder) with guns that is bad... but it's also bad to do such things with other tools such as a baseball bat. Again, it's not the tool that is good or bad, it's what you do with it that is good or bad. Criminals can get guns whether they're legal or not. But if they're illegal, then a law-abiding citizen who wishes to defend his/her home will wind up holding a baseball bat while the intruder, on the other side of the room, has a gun. Those things said, I myself have a .22 caliber Marlin rifle with a scope, that my father got for me six or seven or so years ago; it's pretty nice. He's a member of a local shooting club and he takes me there from time to time to do target practice. He's more interested in guns than I am, though; he has several guns (mostly handguns, also a couple rifles) and often competes in shooting competitions. I've never intentionally aimed a firearm (loaded or otherwise) at another human being, and, to my knowledge, neither has my father; he too respects and observes the law when it comes to guns. Last summer he got a gun safe, in which he keeps all his guns (as well as mine; I used to keep it in my bedroom), so I don't have access to my rifle anymore unless he's taking me to go shoot somewhere. Occasionally one of his friends from work will set up an impromptu shooting competition and invite a few buddies (including my father), and my father will take me along. He (my father's friend from work) lives out in the country (relatively speaking), and he'll clear out the driveway (which has a sand or dirt filled embankment at the end) and scatter balloons along it, then we all wager a quarter and take turns shooting at the balloons; however pops the last one takes the pot, and we keep going until we run out of balloons/quarters/ammo or when dinner is served. It's pretty fun.  |

| Besides the things which are around the house and could maybe be used as weapons, I have a katana and a bokken. I use both of them in my movies and don't plan on using them in any other way. |
