FuSoYa's site was hosted by Challenge-Games. Challenge-Games couldn't afford to pay for hosting. FuSoYa's site went down as a result of the site it was being hosted on going down as well  He's still somewhat active here, so you might be able to catch him at the same time you're on if you need him for anything  |

Is there like some ego boost you get for senselessly yelling at people around here? While his topic title was poor and undescriptive, I don't feel he was deserving of such a harsh response.
I looked around on both this forum and the SMW Hacking forum and didn't see a thread title addressing the topic. Nor can I recall a thread I read recently (or at all) which addressed this topic. Surely you don't expect him to read every single post in every single thread before posting a simple question. To expect that is stupid and unrealistic. Also, your post for yelling at craze for not reading every post in every thread is even more pointless than his post. Not to mention it's much more negative and drags down the tone and atmosphere of the board down into the gutter.
I didn't know people were keeping track of such ridiculous things. Anyway... I agree that the title could be more descriptive. Something like "What happend to FuSoYa" would have been a better title... so that people browsing the forum would see that this question has already been asked and repeat posts would be produced. A post title of "ummmm" doesn't really say anything. But still. A simple "You should be more descriptive with your thread titles" would have sufficed without copping a "omg you stupid n00b I'm so much better than you" attitude. I go to a few boards... and this one stands out as having the most irritable members around. If someone has a low post count it's like you guys all go out of your want to thump your chests to show off how superior you are instead of actually trying to be helpful. Attitudes like that suck, and you guys need to lighten up. What you have to realize is that asking questions is what you do on message boards. Especially boards of this nature (Rom hacking or other technical subject related). Every question on this board could be answered through other means.. that doesn't mean you should bust in every thread with "omg use google" or "omg that was already asked two weeks ago pay attention". If you want to answer the question, do so (Thank you Karadur for providing a complete helpful response without getting stupid). If you don't want to answer... then don't. A single, simple question like this isn't a nuisance to the board by any means |

| Well said Disch. I got degrading replies when I posted about a hack that had just changed graphics and nothing more. People telling me it was pointless, or its too early to announce anything, when I was just posting it just because I felt like showing off art. Its like theres a set of rules that run the ROM hacking community, and its pretty ridiculous. Thats why I believe its in the state its in right now. Let people do what they want for fun. And like Chaos Force said on TEK's board, if you're not going to help or offer suggestions, don't complain. And why be rude and yell at people? Thats going to make the situation any better? | |||
