| It's going to get cheaper, but not today. Apple's inching closer to their margins. I don't think they make more than maybe $30, tops, on this. (Trivia: the first 5GB iPod sold for $399, which was what the HD cost from the factory. They haggled a little, and got a little volume discount, but we're talking these kinds of margins here.) | |||

| I don't know if they have student discounts here. They probably do but I'd have to go to an Apple Store instead of any old place that sells iPods. Still, I can wait for one more price drop. |

Hmm...for my school, a 20GB iPod is $269, a savings of about 10%...not bad but if it was down to $200 i'd be more inclined to buy one  |

| But then you have to wait for the video iPod to come out and lord knows if Apple's even working on that, let alone when/if it would be released. We get a small tax on our iPod's but it's the same as our blank media (CD/DVD-ROM) tax. |
