| Heres something I made up, you might like it: In a far off land, four ancient principles governed the ways of life: Discipline, Knowledge, Strength, and Life, represented by the Four Light Jewels. Living under these codes, the land and it's people grew strong, and good. An Era of Peace reigned throughout the lands. However, four anti-principles have gained power: Chaos, Forgetfulness, Weakness, and Death. Four Dark Jewels have been created, and are beginning to corrupt the people body and soul. The land is dying, and crys for help. Four Warriors have anwsered that cry, and must find the Dark Jewels, and hurl them into the flames of Evil... The Flames of Evil would be the Time Gate in the Temple of Fiends (where a gate would randomly open), and the Dark Jewels would be found in dungeons... Meh, just an idea... |

| ....Why, oh WHY, do people depend on everyone else to basically design the whole games for them??? I am seriously tempted to add a FF FAQ, make one of the questions "Can you please give me a [story/character/images] for my hack?" and make the answer "DO IT YOURSELF, DAMMIT!" I would also include other things that people often ask, like the intro screen text/speed and default names |

Well, I knew this guy a long time ago, he is of french descent and he may not speak English too fluently but he is not stupid so try not to bash on him too much alright?  Uhhh... How about ehhh, naw heard that one... ... Man I gotta think of something that people would'nt consider quote and quote "Sacreligious"... Okay let's get something straight... Who and what are the characters first of all... -List baddies and good guys -List thier personalities What does everyone want... -Baddie wants to rule the world for example or make humanity suffer, steal momma's batch of cookies... blah... -Good guy wants to save the day, get the girl, get a job? If you narrow the simple things down first, you'll find it is not all that hard... I think you can make something great with you imagination... just keep trying ... |

| My lil' FAQ says that hacks are better when you make everything on your own. Follow Raven's suggestions and perhaps you can make a nice lil story yourself. EDIT: Also, the story doesn't have to live up to something like, say, Lord of the Rings... in fact, no one should expect it to If you have only a mediocre story, you can still make up for it with great gameplay and innovative dungeons or something...
