OOC: Just an experiment here, Dracoon. Wanna try a clash of the titans?

The Scene? River City, Great Britain. Detective Grey's office...

Grey: "Hey, uh, Janus? You might wanna take a look at this. Just found it on the internet."

The detective flashed a printout to his friend, a black-suited man who was currently vegetating on the couch outside the office as Grey's secretary, Elaine, typed away, filing police reports and case-files.

Janus opened an eye, and brought himself to a sitting position, taking the paper from Grey.

"Interesting guy, huh? The underground's been raving about this fellow, says he's one of the strongest fighters on the planet. We might be able to use his help. Young, too. Learns fast, is my guess."

Janus: "What's this...."

Grey: "Some old friends of yours are mentioned, too..."

Janus read up on what little information was presented to him, and glanced over the small print skeptically, until three names stuck out to him, all of which were mentioned almost at the same time.

Star, Dracoon, and Origin. Janus' eyes widened.

Janus: "What? How's he know them?"

Grey: "If you keep reading, it says he was trained by them. Apparently the student surpassed the master at an alarming rate, hence my comment about him learning very quickly."

Janus: "He might be a big help to us, then... Should we meet up with him?"

Grey: "I don't know, it says here he hangs out, for the most part, in Norway. It'd be a hell of a search."

Janus: "Ha, you forget, Detective. We've got all the time in the world."

And with that, their search began...

Odin walked, very slowly, down a path, knowing that something was stalking him, hidden in the grass on the side of the path.

"..."

Odin kept walking, his hand on his sword, he could feel the vibrations the beast made as it prepared to attack him. Odin turned around just as a wolf jumped up at him, trying to close in on his throat. Odin hit the wolf with the flat of his sword, sending it spawling back to the side of the road.

"5 wolves in three days... something is wrong."

Odin still had to look for new abilities, he had to be ready, he couldn't just sit around and wait.

Scene: ________ International Airport, Norway. Baggage check.

Janus precariously took Satchel from the conveyor belt line, hoping he wasn't injured from his stay in cargo...

Satchel: "I swear, You idiot, if I ever have to go through something like that aga--"

Janus hugged the bag closely to him, whispering to it frantically.

Janus: "Shh, shut up... This is a public place. You can't speak here, people will freak out..."

Grey: "Janus, why did we fly, anyway? You can open portals across dimensions, and yet we have to fly the distance between England and Norway?"

Janus: "It's not that... I just wanted to be incognito. Chances are, if this Odin guy was trained by Dracoon and Origin, he'll probably be able to sense me opening portals. I don't want him to get alarmed by our presence."

Grey: "So, what next, then?"

Janus: "Well, firstoff, we've got to get out of this airport. They seem pretty uptight. Judging by the fact that they wouldn't let me keep Satchel as a carry-on, I'm willing to bet we're going to eventually attract some suspicion if we stay here any longer."

Grey: "Then how will we get around? Use Satchel to fly?"

Satchel: "Hell no! I ain't hauling his fat arse around AND yours!"

Janus: "Sh! Shut up! .........No, we're going to have to rent a car."

Grey: "Alright, but when's the last time you had to drive?"

Janus: "Ah, about 450000 years ago..."

Grey sighed, his head drooped, his shoulders slumped, and he took out a wallet from within his coat. Fortunately, an identification in the form of a driver's license happened to be inside. He turned toward the airport exit and made for the car rental garage.

Grey: "Grand. I'm driving."

Fenrir: "You shouldn't wander around so much you?"

Odin froze where he stood, he hated the voice, it made his hair stand on end.

Fenrir: "Really, you'll just die, and you know I can't let that happen."

Odin: "What do you want?"

Fenrir: "Oh nothing much, just to tell you that your being searched for."

Odin had his hand on his sword, he knew it wasn't time to fight Fenrir, but now the future seemed unimporatant. Fenrir had taken after his wolf ancestor, quiet, trapped, alone form many year. He had countless bounties on him, been caught 4 times and shouldn't have broken out on the fourth, yet he did. His chain was supposed to bind him. The human had wolf like qualities, but Odin wondered if this Fenrir was his death.

Odin: "By who?"

Fenrir: "No one important, he doesn't have a bounty on him, so he can't be important."

Odin: "You still do that?"

Odin began to pull his sword from its sheath, but before it moved and inch Fenrir had his gun in his hand.

Fenrir: "Yes, that is after all, why I've been watching you. You have a bounty yourself, just not at its top price yet, so I can't let anyone else kill you."

Odin: "Who is it?"

Fenrir: "They are some man named Grey, and an unknown, by records, Janus."

Odin: "Wasn't Janus some Roman god?"

Fenrir: "Yeah, thats what I thought, but we both know those myths are a bunch of trash. Anyways, good luck."

With that Fenrir seemed to fade away, leaving Odin wondering what was going on. His natural enemy just warned him about something, this was serious. Fenrir would never warn Odin about anything... he was not telling something...

Odin: "Damn... better make camp and wait then..."

OOC: Ouch, Dracoon. Very ouch. Janus is just a name, but I like your Norse references.

IC:
What seems to be a banjo plays in the background as the camera pans in a dome fashion around a black Sedan, making its way through the Norse countryside roads. A little detective work by Grey managed to show the pair that people named Odin were naturally afraid of being swallowed by giant wolves that happened to be the sons of evil gods. This didn't really seem to have anything to do with their search, but when they heard some crazy fellow was running around slaying wolves (an animal that was already severely endangered), they decided to track the carcasses to their target...

OOC: From here it's up to you when they meet...

OOC Yeah I know. I always wondered though, I can't even remember what Janus did in Roman myths.

"What is that sound?"

Odin turned to see dust flying up from the road not that far back. He took his sword out of its sheath and held it at his side. He waited a few seconds before the car passed over a hill and then struck the ground. In a minor explsion a deep hole was left in the ground that spanned across the road.

"A car...? Here?"

OOC: Ironically enough, he's the god of gates and portals...

Janus: "Grey, are you alright?"

Janus looked around. That explosion had rocked the car pretty hard. It was definitely totaled. He had no clue how they were gonna pay that rental place. His attention however, turned almost immediately from the destroyed rental car to the body of the injured Detective, sprawled across the road. Janus rushed over to it, and checked for a pulse.

Still alive. Good, he thought. Upon closer inspection, Janus discovered a shard of glass stuck in Grey's side. Amazingly enough, it failed to hit a single vital organ. He was unconscious, but he'd survive. Grey really did have the best luck in the world, and it amazed Janus to see it in action at times.

The issue, however, was not whether or not Grey would survive, but what caused his life to be endangered in the first place. Janus could think of only one thing. He got to his feet, scanned around using Blue's sunglasses, and locked onto a single target in the countryside grass...

Odin could see a light bounce of the glasses and tried to see what really looked at him. He could tell it was human, but exactly what kind of human wasn't obvious. He had survived the explosion, so he couldn't be weak. He had also managed to keep walking after a little odeal.

"Now you have my attention... Have to be careful though..."

Odin kept his sword at his side, waiting for the figure to make a move.

Janus' sunglasses glinted in the summer sky. He was clearly pissed off.

Janus: "Odin, I presume..."

His pace was slow. Satchel flew to his side, and the hammer-handle extended from within him. Now was not the time for flashy introductions.

"You broke a rule, Odin. You hurt Grey. Nobody hurts Grey. That's my policy, that's how it goes. Grey stays alive at all costs, unharmed and unaffected."

Finally, the man came into view. Janus took his finger off of the sunglasses' activation button, and placed a besuited arm at his side.

"You know Star, I can't imagine him not telling you about me. Or Origin, especially not Origin. So that'd also mean you know why I'd search you out. I don't really have to go through the whole song and dance, and I'm not gonna. But there's a rule; You can't hurt Grey."

Closer, now. Janus stopped walking, and prepared himself for what promised to be a difficult confrontation.

"I could have gone through today without drawing a weapon, and just asked you to join our cause peacefully. It'd have been a pretty simple endeavor, yes or no. But you hurt Grey, and now I gotta teach you a lesson before we talk. This isn't gonna be a friendly spar."

He tightened, charging a bright white aura around himself. Satchel glowed blue, as did Janus' eyes...

"Just remember, if you're who my sources say you are..."

The white light exploded outward, and then gravitated into Janus, surrounding him with a healthy, hue-less glow!

"I could match every one of your masters..."

He launched himself at Odin, Satchel behind him, ready to deliver a crushing overhead strike!

"....Blow for blow!!!"

Odin didn't say anything, he was already submerged in his next move, waiting for the perfect moment. As Janus prepared for his heavy strike Odin didn't even bother to use his weapon, he jumped forward with a red glowing fist.

"Explosive Fist!"

Regardless of whether the attack hit or not, an explosion occured, seeminly out of nothing, right where Odin's fist would meet Janus's stomach.

"That's why I trained under more people."

Odin spoke quickly, letting the explosion he had just made carry him backwards, barely touching the ground. He came to a complete stop, holding his sword out.

"Janus, cursed with unacceptable immortality. Primary weapon, a hand bag with odd mystic powers and an ulimited amount of space. Primary strength, speed and skill, sub strength, luck. One known transformation. Primary weakness, emmotional outrage. Sub Weakness, predictability."

Odin moved his sword so it was resting on his shoulder.

"Overall risk rating, B for a careful fighter, S for an unsuspecting one."

Odin stepped forward slowling.

"I will be able to out-class you in speed, stealth, strength, technique, and skill. Maybe luck will be on your side today, but the direct approach you are trying, won't work."

The explosion rocks Janus backward, sending him flying and skidding across the ground. When he finally stops moving, a trench can be seen in the path of his skids...

Janus: "Yep, that's the Dracoon in you speaking."

He picked himself up, stumbling a bit on his feet... Unacceptable immortality came in handy every once in a while.

"But predictable? Man, that's an insult."

Suddenly, with underestimatable speed augmented still further by Green's Shoes, Janus appeared behind Odin, grabbing him and tossing him roughly into the air, his strength augmented by Red's power-suit!

"So let's see..."

He leaps high into the air!

"....You've hurt Grey..."

As he passes Odin in the air, he catches the upward-traveling warrior at the apex of his jump!

".....And insulted me!"

He hurls Odin back toward the ground, whipping a disc out of Satchel as Odin flies! Quick-scanning it, he finishes his attack by darting toward the ground as the disc breaks open, and attempts to smash Odin with his downward force!

"Earthquake Punch!!!"

Janus jumps out of his attack, frontflipping several times and landing gracefully on his feet. He is not carrying Satchel. As the dust clears, one must wonder what happened to Odin...

Odin took full damage, but after everything cleared, he was standing, looking completely unharmed. He knew he could have dodged the attack or possibly made a counter attack, but just because he knew his opponet, didn't mean he couldn't learn from them.

"I underestimated you speed it seems, it doesn't matter though, just watch and learn!"

Odin ran forward and jumped into the air, but he disappeared as soon as he got into the air. Suddenly, hundreds of him started to appear all around Grey! Each one, moving in a circle aroudn Grey, only one of them real.

"Destructive Kick1"

All of them said the same thing, ut none of them moved closer. The real Odin shot dowards from directly above Grey, his foot now glowing the same color his fist had. The move was almost the exact same as Destructive Fist it seemed, but it didn't stop till it either hit the opponet, or the ground.

Janus: "Gaaaah!"

He panicked, moving as fast as he could to Grey's position, faster now without Satchel in his hands to burden him. Performing a run-by grab of the prostrated detective and wrapping him in his (fireproof, fortunately) coat, Janus jumped with Grey still in his arms through the sea of Odin clones, a firey aura surrounding him and making him into a burning projectile!

"Red's Fire!!!"

He landed beyond the wave of clones as the earth-shattering explosion from Odin's attack sent chunks of earth outwards, showering Grey and Janus in dirt. Janus placed his still unconscious friend on the ground, praying he'd stay safe. He then turned to Odin, flames encircling his body and growing hotter by the second.

"I thought I told you..."

Satchel, just for reference, is nowhere to be found.

"....STAY AWAY FROM GREY!"

Emotional outrage, indeed. Janus rushes toward Odin, does a quick hop, and slams his fist into the ground in front of him, discharging his aura into a rush of fire that appears beneath Odin's feet!

Odin, just landing after his kick vibrations moving through him, was unable to move, the fire hit him directly. After the flames passed, a scorched Odin stood with his sword again pointing at Janus, using one hand.

"Emmotionally unstable? You should have been smarter than to just leave him all alone, if you were thinking with logic this wouldn't have happened."

Odin rushed forward attempting a heavy slash on Janus, but he only used one hand, his other hand ready for something.

Janus: "Satchel's Draw!!!"

It was time to see what ability Pokemon Collosseum gave him...

More flames erupted around Janus, as he suddenly went into a diving roll, meeting Odin's slash low and leaving a trail of flames behind him as he somersaulted speedily along the ground and underneath the sword!

Janus felt reminisciently like a hedgehog for a few seconds as he executed Flame Wheel on Odin. Not the best move, but certainly enough to keep Odin distracted for a few seconds... Hopefully.

Odin was surprised that Janus moved fast enough to dodge, but Odin thought of a quick manuver. He finshed his slash, letting his sword hit the ground, and then flipped onto it, so he was balanced upside down, facing Janus. As flame wheel came at him, he flipped backwards, slashing upwards, cutting the fire in half, leaving himself unburnt.

"Flash Sword!"

Odin brought his sword back up to point at Janus, then it glowed for a second. After that second, light exploded from the sword, making more light than the sun, blinding Odin, and hopefully Janus.

"I hope you know how to fight without sight."

Janus: "Indeed I do!"

But his confidence is stilled for a moment... He remembered his battle with Elder Schwa for the devastating effect of Psi Vortex, but was afraid to fight without his sight this time. Surely, Odin had ways of moving without being heard. Instead...

"But there's more to fighting than just seeing your foe!"

Suddenly, the flames remaining around Janus from Flame Wheel grew hotter, and he rose a few inches into the air. Bringing himself to a crucifix-like position, he then spread his legs to shoulder length, and turned himself to where Odin's voice came from!

"Tactical Modification!!!"

Flame Wheel wasn't all that powerful a Pokemon move, but this certainly would be...

"Fire Blast!!!"

The body-shaped fire attack was shot from Janus' body, straight at Odin! If Odin hadn't moved since he last spoke, chances are it's coming right at him...

The Fire Blast missed, horribly. Odin had moved as soon as he spoke, knowing to be careful when someone is blinded. Usually they do something desperate to stop him from taking advantage. Odin's voice seemed to come from everywhere.

"Have you ever fought Nijote? She's the one who taught me how to do all this."

Odin ran quickly, but somehow remaining quiet, right at the source of heat that didn't move fast, which he assumed was Janus. Odin slashed vertically, trying to find Janus's exact location before he used a stronger attack.

Odin was surprised by the sudden sound of something moving quickly through the air in his direction, but he knew better than to panic.

"Damn, no choice... Slashing Spin!"

Odind stopped where he was, not moving another inch forward, and spun very fast, dragging everything around him into the spin just to be cut up by the sword. He hoped the bag would be caught up in the spin and ripped apart.

The blind effect wore of on both of the fighters.
