What do you like to cook? Any recipie we could try?
I know this might sound strange but ever since I worked at a sushi bar/hibachi grill my mom owns, I learned to appreciate cooking. I experimented with a few things and got some nice meals.

Crunchy Salad

-1 pack of pre-shredded iceberg cabbage
-3 cups of shredded baby carrots
-1 cup of planter's sunflower seeds
-1 cup of sliced almonds
-3-6 tbsp of Red vinegar
-5 tbsp of sesame oil
-Sliced onions
-Leek onion

-Mix the cabbage and baby carrots together in a salad bowl.
-Slice the onions and add to the salad
-Cook the sliced almonds until the whites are a golden brown colour, no grease is needed.
-Mix the vinegar with the sesame oil in a separate cup
-Add the seeds and almonds
-Mix the salad again

I used to work/manage a resturant for a few years. I'v cut myself, got burns, you know, the usual crap.

So yea, I hate to cook. Before I had that job and after the job. It was fun at times at the job, but that didn't last either.

Hm... anything of the sandwich or microwaveable variety for me. I probably could LEARN how to cook and will probably have to someday, but it's not really a big concern.

Mmm...I love to cook, great way to be creative...though, I can't exactly think of any intricate recipies off the top of my head, theres something yummy just about anyone can make that I know quite well. Simply take a tortilla and sprinkle some peperoni over it. Throw down a couple of slices of provolone cheese, microwave for about 40-45 seconds (depending on how 'hot' your microwave is), roll up and enjoy

My dad has managed to cut himself with a knife every time he picks one up. Therefore I havent even touched on the subject of cooking for myself.

The most Ive ever made is pancakes.... and I even burned those

Sane thing with my brother. He burns ramen.... thats kinda sad. Though his roomie's GF always hangs around and cooks, so there isnt anything to worry about yet

Mash for...lots.

Approx. 30 lbs of potatoes.

6-8 table spoons of salt.

3-4 table spoons of garlic

3 cups butter (minimum)

3 cups milk (minimum)

1-2 cups of sour cream (minimum)

And there you have the best mash potatoes ever...If you want to spend the time actually mixing them properly.

I won't say I'm an ace at it, but I'd like to think that I have pretty good cooking skills. I've never burnt something, if that says anything.

I don't have any new, great, innovative recipe on anything, but I like to experiment a little every now and then.

Also, my dad's a chef, so there's plenty of good cooking in this house.

I dont have any recipe to share, mainly because when I do cook, its for myself, and I just put together whatever I think would taste good to me...and it works all the time, one thing I love making, is Steak and that always turns out good.

Cooking is a big part of my life. Even though I come from a very southern family where it is the man's job to kill the pig and the woman to cook it, I still help my wife and mother cook. Since it's nice southern cooking there's a lot of dishes that have to be made in bulk and don't require much skill so I leave those to my mom and wife while I cook the more difficult dishes. As for recipes, I don't have many since what we cook is mainly standard southern dishes with my new style of mixing yank with southern style cooking.

*Edit* I forgot to mention that most all of my fmily lives in the samehouse. Only two of the woman cook though because the other is lazy, the reason I started cooking.

I can cook somethings just not big meals because I haven't tried all that yet. I know how to cook it's just that I don't want to. Takes time and when you're hungry you don't feel like waiting.

Peanut butter, now with horrible hygiene.

Needed: spoon, jar of peanut butter (make sure it's a jar).

Directions: preheat oven to 450oF.

Turn oven off and remember what you're doing.

Put hand around cap of peanut butter. Make sure it is in a comfortable position. You may want to consider stretching beforehand, or perhaps excersizing more.

Slowly twist the cap with the hand you grasped it with, watching out and not burning your hand. You probably have enough blisters on it anyway.

When cap comes off, like peanut butter off of it.

Stick spoon into jar, and stick spoon into mouth (I suggest using the same spoon for each of these).

Repeat last step as needed.

Be sure not to get any on your keyboard, as you're going to probably eat this meal like all of you other meals; by your PC.

I don't cook nearly as much as I want to, but I know there is one recipie that I REALLY want to learn how to make, but I don't have the recipie for it. I had it once at a friends house, and don't know what it's called. All I know is that it's a type of exotic spicy soup dish, with the following things in it:

Coconut Milk
Cream of Mushroom Soup
Creamed Corn (Or regular corn, I'm not quite sure)
Curry Powder

There are more, but I'm not quite sure what else. If any of you can pinpoint the recipe down, I would be grateful.
