Again, we can't fix it as it hinges on GD being installed, and we just don't have the kind of authority to fix that. I wonder why Mouse dumped the previous version - I'll ask him later on.

Damn, I can't stop looking at them either.

This one frame looks pretty good. Well, not really. It's very distracting and wouldn't make a good background for anything. But it looks kind of neat.



Anyway, that pattern in my minipic (in case you weren't paying attention, this pattern in this) is actually produced just by drawing alternating black and white lines the way they're drawn there. One of my first BASIC programs was messing around with that effect.

It looks like one of thoose patterns you could have in Win 3.x/Win95. Anyone remember that? You could have them instead for backrounds, as they took less memory. Now they no longer exist.

I don't find them anywhere in Win XP at least. I don't know about 2000 and 98. But i'm not surprised that they're still there.

I don't recall finding anything such in 2000, but if it's well hidden...

They still exist in XP as bitmap tiles. In the Deskop tab of display properties, select the images that are not JPG, then you will get those tiles effects...that is what you are looking for right?
