I'm pretty sure I used to play a Dragon Warrior type game that was made using BYOND... It was pretty fun...
I may have to go back to the good stuff...
EDIT: Dragon Warrior Online. Yep, that's it... |

I like playing turn based strategy on Byond. Look up Medievil Conquest. Thats a real fun game.
Also, its fun to play the fan based games. At least the ones based on final fantasy or dragon warrior.
But that reaction time is terrible. I use to code for it, but not anymore. When its on your personal computer, without any conenction, that lag time is still there. its pretty lame. |

byond is pretty hard to program, everything has to be indented just right, and stuff like that...I dont really like byond anyway, all the games ive tried have a bad reaction time, example would be when trying to move, and you press the up arrow, and it moves after, not right away..and it moves up like 3 or more tiles per key press... |

You got me there. I've tried to make a game of my own several times, and I've never gotten anywhere XD. Perhaps you could ask a game maker for tips? |

Have any of you ever been to BYOND? If not, it's a load of online games that people make, and you can play them online, they range from sidescrollers, to rpgs, to fighters. Compared to things like Ragnarok, BYOND isn't much. However, some of the games can be very addicting, and you can make them yourself, too. |
