Oh yea...I forgot about the fact that you might want to go to Windows Update as well. I assumed your comp was up to date...but if it's getting that, as by what Erk linked, it probably isn't. |

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/bloodhound.exploit.6.html It's amazing how doing a super simple search can help you with stuff like that |

Alright, I'll try that out. I can still access internet, hell I posted the original from the computer next to the infected one. Thanks for the tip of where to go. |

Well, if there's anti-virus software that's caught that already...I think your job is already done...but if it hasn't then I'd go to something like HouseCall if you can still access the internet. |

Ok, my computer seems to have come down with the Bloodhound.exploit.6 virus/spyware/whatever. does anyone know what I can do about this? Ok, to be honest, this is not my personal computer, but I am helping the librarian with a library computer, and I would like to point out that I don't have access to the C:\ drive, internet options, or control panel and probably some other things I have yet to figure out. Anyone who can help me out here, I'd appreciate it. |
