Well yea...if you want to do it the analog way and worry about other system sounds as well...that would definitely be your best bet, either using Winamp, Goldwave, or some other sound recorder...but you also have to worry about lag sometimes if you're not careful.
If this is explicitly video, however, I'd probably try getting something like VideoMach or VirtualDub on your comp and extract only the audio from it, that way you don't have to worry about that factor of it screwing up. |

depending on your soundcard, volume controll should have somthing similar to what reads as "stereo mix" under your recording volume (it says those exact words for me on SB Live!, but it may vary dependingon your card). select this. It basicly means that anything you hear coming through your soundcard, it gets recorded. I'd basicly just use sound recorder, but you may use the program which suits your fancy better. |

Winamp can. Look through its sound output plugins, there's two output things that allow you to save output to a wave file. |

Put quite simply, how would I go about ripping sound from video files, or another web page? Is some kind of extra software required?
