It depends on the browser, Firefox works better with CSS layouts than IE for some reason.
Looking nice, I see that your proud over your nationality. I have finnish roots if you didn't know, my grandma is finnish.
...I just hope that everyone won't do a similar layout now. |

Hm, I don't find the layout locks up anything, its a relatively quick load for me. |

Yes, I'm currently considering to switch my Stylesheet to another server, because the one I use is kinda slow |

I like the quotes, the only thing that's a bit off is the bg color for your blockquote; it just doesn't match the whole for me. Ofcourse, it's up to you to pick colors you like. Glad you got it fixed though |

It looks good, it's easy to read, doesn't slow down the board. |

Ok, I had a post, but I deleted it. Blockquotes work, links work, there isn't spacing around the post walls, and the padding works! Observe:
block, block, blockquote. BLOCKQUOTE!
<<< Padding there............................Padding there!>>>>>
I didn't need to link to the style sheet, just used an internal one, with <style> and </style> before the other stuff. Now thats its tweaked, people can comment!
Edit: above comment Edit: spelling

remove br's that might have been auto-inserted into your layout code, the board does that if you leave spaces in it. and check your css to make sure you didn't forget to add small things, like : and ; and name it all something unique, so the board doesn't overide it. (e.g. #finlandlayoutblockquote or something)
P.S. I haven't looked at anything in your layout, but those might be some simple things gone wrong :-/
edit: after viewing the page source and finding your layout's code, I've seen that you have several br tags, and you use css, but don't link to the css file. It'll never work if you don't upload that <<; |

Finland is awesome. This is the layout. I will add quote and link properties later, but for now, I'm focusing on general appearance. Two things I need to do:
1. Add some padding on the left and right of the textbox.
2. I need some help on this one! There is a big gap between where the post starts and the actual layout. Why is this? It has happened a lot when I have tested layouts in the past... . If anyone knows how to make the layout snug with post walls that would be appreciated.
Edit:
a test blockquote bla bla bla bla bla
test link
Padding nor links and blockquotes seem to work. |
