You have to select the right tile format (SNES 4bpp).
And BTW, arguing over which program's better is really pointless, as past threads have proven...different people will always prefer a different program. YY-CHR is more stable by far, but TLP has a few features that YY-CHR doesn't.
...YY-CHR forever! *runs* |

Uhhh... yeah. Explain to me why I STILL have trouble using it again.
YY-CHR is very simple and easy to use when you play with it a bit. I tried TLP for about 30 minutes and couldnt get one thing done in it. |

Okay! Bottom line is, if it's a noobish question, post it in the SMW hacking for n00bs thread! These questions have been answered many a time, please consider more than a mere glance at minimum. I don't mind questions in general, but this is getting stupid. |

Extract all GFX in the file. Press F9 in the 8x8 editor, then re-insert the GFX. |

And please...from now on, post all SMW Hacking questions in this forum. This is why a separate forum was made.
One of two ways...
1. Open LM. Open the 8x8 editor. Scroll to the third page. You will see the "Nintendo Presents" screen. You can edit it using the colors on the bottom of the 8x8 editor.
2. Open LM. Extract the GFX. Open the GFX in a tile editor (such as TLP or YY-CHR). The "Nintendo Presents" will be all the way on top. |
